For our projects today, the design team is showcasing the Caffeinated stamp set.  Here’s what it looks like:

I love to color!  Coloring is very therapeutic for me and I normally do it while listening to music or while waiting for my laundry to finish, or even waiting for my instant pot meal to finish cooking, haha!

I stamped the image on some Neenah solar white card stock and colored the images in with some Copic markers.  I wanted to use some intense colors so I mostly used dark Copic markers.  I altered the image a little bit to make it look like a pyramid of cats.  I fussy-cut the image and set it aside.

On an A2 size piece of Bristol smooth white card stock, I inked up my background with some Squeezed Lemonade and Dried Marigold distress oxide inks with the Sunscape Stencil.

To finish my design, I stamped the sentiment on the background and adhered this piece to an A2 size card base.  I was soooo bummed that I smeared the sentiment a little.  I almost threw out this card out of frustration but I spent so much time altering and coloring the image so I decided to stick with it.  I also added the hearts from the Heart Sprinkles Embellishment by Kat Scrappiness.  Here’s a little closer look:

I don’t know about you but coffee and kitty?  They are my jam! haha!  I especially love kittens because they have so much energy and they can basically play all day.  I wish I have about 10 of them running around!

  1. Wow! The sunshine background is so uplifting along with the bright colors of all the cups. I like how each kitty appears to be from one litter. Also, the hearts give the card warmth and caring toward the recipient.

  2. Amazing, simply amazing!!! LOVE that pyramid of kitties in the cups, the bold colours and your sun so happy!! Your smearing isn’t visible so much, I have never seen it if you haven’t said!! Fabulous work, so inspiring! LOVE the new Caffeinated stamp set!!! I love kitties too, and I have six!!! 😀 And yes, they can play all the day (and the night too!! 😀 LOL)

  3. This is a stunning card! I didn’t even notice the slight smudge but I know how you feel! I hate it when that happens! The pyramid of kitties and mugs is colored beautifully and I can’t believe how awesome you did on the fussy cutting! And I love the sun rays behind them! So pretty!

  4. Wow these bright colorful cats in coffee cups & your sunshine background just makes me happy! It really did perk up my day!

  5. Thanks for explaining how to make a comment. I needed that.

An adorable card you made. You’re the 2nd designer to have altered the stamp and I love that. Your card is precious. I’m crossing my fingers to win!

  6. Love your card with this cute new stamp. I agree with you about coloring being therapeutic! 🙂 I like to do it at night while I binge watch something on Netflix, etc. 😉 Love your vibrant coloring on this one!!!!

  7. Your kitty card is fun and colorful. Your coloring is spectacular. I love kittens too. I would have a couple more but my senior kitty, Tiger, would have something to say about that. This is his house. We’re lucky we get to live in it!!
