For Day 1 of the reveals, we are showcasing the amazing Hot Foiling Products with Coordinating Die Sets.

I started by creating the background using my favorite Prima Pastel Dreams Watercolor Confections using some flat watercolor brush on some Bristol smooth white card stock. I swiped the colors back and forth until I the colors were blended together, and adhered this panel on some top-folding notecard.

Next, I created the frame for my shaker using the Frames and Flags with the Framework Die set and adhered some acetate sheet using liquid glue. I added some iridescent sequins as my shaker element and closed the shaker using foam-adhesive.

The next step was to use the Hot Foil Plates starting with the Mason Jar Plate and Spellbinder’s Hot Foil Machine. I decided to use some Opulent Card Stock with Therm-O-Web’s Ocean Blue Deco Foil. The combination of the pearlescent card stock with the foil made it really pop.

I also used the Fireflies Foil Plates with Therm-O-Web’s Gold Deco Foil to add the fireflies inside the jar. I die-cut the mason jar with the Coordinating Die and foam-mounted this on the card front.

I finished the card design by adding the black sentiment strip that I foiled using the Sentiment Hot Foil Plates and die-cutting with the coordinating die and added the gold bow using the Baby Bib Die Set. Here’s another look:
