For Day 1 of the reveals, we are showcasing the Cycling Friends Stamp Set + Coordinating Dies along with the Tree Line Stencil. I also used the A7 Frames & Banner Die Set with the Clouds Stencil and the Hills & Grass Stencil.

I started by stamping my images on some X-Press It Blending Card and colored the images in with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, I die-cut the card background using the new A7 Frames & Banner Die Set on some Strathmore Bristol smooth white card stock. I used some masking tape to cover the scallop and used the Tree Line Stencil to create the “rainbow” trees first with different dye inks. I used the other stencils to ink-blend the panel.

I finished my design by foam-mounting the images and added the sentiment that was heat-embossed using white embossing powder. Here’s another look:

You Are a Shining Star with LDRS Creative’s January 2022 Release

Hello everyone!  I’m sharing this cute and simple card today showcasing the ADORABLE Never Stop Dreaming Stamp Set and Never Stop Dreaming Dies, with the A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers Die Set and In the Grass Border Dies

To make the card, I placed the stamps from the Never Stop Dreaming Stamp Set inside my stamping tool and stamped the images on some Neenah Solar White Card stock using Raven Hybrid Ink.   I stamped the images with the help of the Stampendable Stamping Tool  to get some really good impression.  I colored the images in with alcohol markers and used the Never Stop Dreaming Dies to cut them all out.

The background is a pattern paper from a previously released Exclusive Craft Kit  that I die-cut using the  A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers Die Set.  [Side note: y’all need to check the Exclusive Craft Kit  as they are packed-full of crafting goodies that you can use over and over again]. I used my white gel pen to draw dots and starbursts to the background for added texture and interest. I adhered this panel on some A2-size notecard.  Since the paper is 6×6, I cut the extra using the In the Grass Border Dies.  I adhered the grass panel to the background panel with some 1/8 inch double-sided tape.  Other than that, I didn’t really need to do anything else since the background already has everything to create my scene.

Next, I adhered all of the images on the card with glue.  Since I needed the sentiment to stand out on the card, I stamped it on some black card stock using Watermark Ink.  I sprinkled some White Embossing Powder and heat-set with my heating tool.  I cut the sentiment using the Fiskars Paper Trimmer and adhered on the card with double-sided adhesive.  I finished my design by using some white gel pen to draw dots and stars on the background for added texture and interest.  I also used some Stickles to add some shine to the moon.  Here’s another look at the finished card:

I hope you like my card today and got inspired.  The supplies I used are listed and linked below.  Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!

For today’s card, I am featuring the Dahlia stamp set and coordinating dies, with the A2 Diagonal Layered Stitched Card Toppers Die Set, Happy Me Happy You stamp set and the Sentiment Stack II Die.

Friendship Card with Reverse Confetti

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! I am pleased to tell you all that a few of the stamps & dies that were sold out from the January release are now back in stock at the Reverse Confetti Shop!

My card today features the Poppies stamp set. This time, I stamped it the way it should be without all of the glitter in between.

Here’s an easy, peasy design for you that you can mass-produce! I stamped the outline image first with some Ink-On-3 Fadeout ink. I didn’t want the outline to show but I still needed it so that I can position the flowers and leaves perfectly. I used 3 color variations of peach dye inks to stamp the flowers first, then moved on to stamping the leaves with two shades of green.

I stamped the sentiment on some black card stock with Versamark ink and sprinkled some white embossing powder then heat-set with my heating tool. I foam-mounted the sentiment onto the card for added dimension.

I used some white gel pen and added dots to the centers of each flower for more texture and adhered some Clear Heart Droplets to finish the design. Here’s another look:

I hope you like my card today and got inspired. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

NND JANUARY RELEASE DAY 4 – LOVE BOTS

It is the last day of the January reveals by Newton’s Nook Designs.  If you haven’t hopped along with us yet, please check out all of the posts from Day 1 since this is your last chance to do it.  You have a chance to win the stamp set being revealed each day so please read through ’til the end of the blog post to find out more info.  [Just a little important note:  I know some of you had difficulties finding the comments section.  If you would like to leave a comment to participate in the giveaway, the “comments section” will only be ever visible when a single post on Word Press is being viewed. For day 4, we are showcasing the Love Bots Stamp Set and coordinating die.

Do you remember when you were a kid and you were so excited to go to school on Valentine’s Day? That’s my inspiration today! I wanted something fun that kids can make themselves using this stamp set so I opted to do a colorful design that can easily be mass-produced.

To make the card, I stamped the images from the Love Bots Stamp Set on some X-Press It Blending Card and colored the images in with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, I used some rectangle dies from my stash and created a stencil on some acetate sheet. I used this stencil to ink up a panel of Strathmore Bristol smooth white card stock with different colors of distress oxide inks. I adhered this panel on an A2-size notecard.

Since this is a “kid-friendly” card, I didn’t need to add foam adhesive to any of the images so I added them with liquid glue. I finished the card design by adding the sentiment that was die-cut using one of the banners from the A7 Banners & Frames die set that I heat-set with my heating tool. I used my white gel pen to add some stars and dots to the card for some whimsical touch. Here’s another look:
