There’s Snow One Like You with Kat Scrappiness

Hello my crafty peeps! Maria here with you today and I’m back with a Christmas card, showcasing the Merry Critters stamp set.  I LOVE this stamp set so much and I just couldn’t wait to play with it.

I started by stamping my images on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers.  The little yellow bird reminds me so much of tweety!   Here’s what the stamp set look like:

Since this stamp set didn’t come with coordinating dies, I die-cut the images using my Brother Scan N Cut 2.

I inked up my background with some distress oxide inks.  I ahve been loving the Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar color combination lately!  It gives the perfect wintery-sky!  Here’s my card:

I used some white glittered card stock as well to create my snow hill.  I think this card turned out so cute.  Here’s a little close-up:

I hope you like my project today.  The supplies I used are listed and linked blow.  Please consider supporting me by clicking on those links.  Don’t forget to use my coupon code “MARIA10” for 10% off your order.  Have an amazing day!

Naughty’isms with CAS-ual Fridays

Hello everyone! Maria here with you today!  Are you guys ready to see more inspiration from me after the release week?  I didn’t get a chance to join the hop last week because I didn’t receive the products on time.  Somehow the post office thought my package should go around the United States twice, haha! Anyhoo, I received them today and I immediately made some projects to show off how wonderful they are!

I am showcasing the Naughty’isms Stamp SetNaughty Fri-DiesSnow Fri-Dies and the Bushy Tailed stamp set.

Here’s what they look like:

For my first card, I stamped the images on some Neenah Solar White 110 lb. card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers.  I die-cut the sentiment using the Naughty Fri-Dies.  Here’s my first card:

The Naughty Fri-Dies cuts like butter!  I also added some black dots to fill in the space between the stamped images and finished my design by stamping the snow flakes in light blue ink. Here’s a little close-up:

These Naughty’isms stamp set and Naughty Fri-Dies are must-haves for sure!

For my second card, I inked up my Bristol smooth white card stock with Blueprint Sketch and Shaded Lilac distress oxide inks.  I stamped, colored and die-cut my little Racoon from the Bushy Tailed stamp set.  I also die-cut the sentiment “Snow” on some glittered card stock.

To finish my design, I added some snowflakes and crystal clear jewels.

Here’s a little close-up:

The little present is from the Naughty’isms stamp set.

I hope you like my projects today.  Don’t forget to use my coupon code below to order the products.  Have a great day and happy crafting!

For the first day of the reveals, we are showcasing the Winter Memories stamp set and dies with two new stand-alone dies that you are absolutely going to LOVE – the Forest Scene Builder dies (my favorite because I LOVE birch trees), the Holiday Greetings Dies (another favorite), with three new AMAZING stencils.  Heres what they look like:

I started out by stamping my images on Neenah solar white card stock with versafine onyx black ink.  I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies.  I die-cut the rest of my elements using the Forest Scene Builder dies and Land Border dies.  I colored the birds die-cut with my Copic markers.  Here’s my first card:

I am so bummed that my lighting didn’t really show the glittered “snow” on my card.  When I was making this card, it was hurricane season in Florida.  I used some diamond glittered card tsock to create my snow hills.  Here’s a little close-up:

I love the silhouette images on this stamp set.

For my second card, I used my Nuvo Moonstone glitter paste and the Evergreen stencil.

Merry Wishes Gift Card Holder

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope you are all ready for Christmas!  I am still wrapping presents and prepping for the holidays and one of the things I made today is this special Gift Card Holder that will house a gift card for my daughter. She loves reading, and she loves Harry Potter so I thought it’s appropriate to use this stamp set that I purchased awhile back from The Sassy Club, as well as my favorite stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn.

I started out by stamping my images on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers. I used my Brother Scan N Cut 2 Machine to die-cut the images from The Sassy Club since this stamp set doesn’t have any coordinating dies. I also die-cut the other stamped images from Lawn Fawn with the Stitched Hillside Backdrop and the Stitched Mountain Border dies, as well as the embellishments that I wanted to add to the card to create my scene.

For the inside of the card, I used Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Stackables, Lift the Flap and Simple Gift Card Slot Dies by Lawn Fawn to house my gift card.

To finish my design, I added stickles to the snow, the lampposts, as well as the trail of stars on the card front. For the inside of the card, I used my Sharpie White Paint Pen to draw the arrow and wrote the word “lift”. Here’s my card:

Front of the card:

Inside of the card:

I really love how this card turned out. It took me an hour or two to create it but this card is really special and I know that my daughter will appreciate it very much. I hope you like my card today. I have listed and linked the supplies I used. Thanks for stopping by my blog today and have a Merry Christmas!

Easy Last-Minute Christmas Gift Tags

Are you looking for some easy, last minute Christmas gift tags ideas?  I am sharing 4 tags that you can easily mass-produce, showcasing the Waffle Flower Crafts Special Delivery stamp set and die set, with the Doodlebug Milk and Cookies Odds and Ends, and the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Tag Dies by Kat Scrappiness, available at the shop.

I started out by stamping my images on Neenah solar white card stock with my Memento Tuxedo black ink using my Tim Holtz Tonic Stamp Platform.   I colored the images in with my Copic markers.

IMG_6363

Using my new favorite Sharpie White Paint Pen, I added some white polka dots on the images then die-cut them using the coordinating die.   I also die-cut the tags using the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Tag dies on white card stock.  I used an embossing die from my stash to add some details on my tag.

IMG_6382

I adhered the images onto my white tags, and added the Gingerbread Men from Doodlebug and sequins on the red bows, using the Sparkling Clear Slid Confetti mix.  Here are the tags:

Meet Me Under the Mistletoe and Peppermint Cards

Are you all done making your Christmas cards yet? I certainly am not. My travels kind of put me behind schedule so I am trying to catch up this week before I ventured off again to my next destination.

For my card below, I am showcasing the Pug Hugs, with the Holiday Smooches, Holiday Hounds and the Llama Delivery stamp sets by Newton’s Nook Designs. I love mixing and matching my stamp sets to create my scene.

I started out by stamping my images on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers. Since I didn’t want to leave a white border around the images, I decided to fuzzy-cut the Santa hat as well as the Pug. I also die-cut a birch tree from a die I have from my collection.

I used the Frames and Flags die set to create the frame for my card. I die-cut the frames on Bristol Smooth White card stock and on 110 lb. red card stock. I also used the land border dies to die-cut a snowy hill for my Pug.

IMG_6362

To create my sky background, I used my mini ink-blending tool with broken china distress oxide ink then sprayed water using my distress sprayer. I used a paper towel to dab it dry.

I adhered the birch tree, snowy hill and my Pug to the card front. I stamped the mistletoe directly onto my background and colored the image with my Copic marker. I used my white Nuvo crystal drops to create dimension on the berries and the Santa hat. I also adhered the presents next to the Pug.

To finish my design, I used my Sharpie white pen and added dots to my card to create the look of snow.

Here’s my card:

NNDPugMistletoe

I also wanted to include two cards that I recently made using the new Peppermint die set. This die is a must-have for any paper crafter.

I hope you like my projects today and got inspired. The supplies I used are listed and linked below if you are interested. Have a great day!

Home For the Holidays by Wild Whisper With Xyron

Hello my crafty friends.  The Xyron DT is teaming up with Wild Whisper all week long.  I have 3 very simple cards to share with you today, showcasing the new stamp set by Wild Whisper called Home for the Holidays, as well as the coordinating patterned papers, with adhesives by Xyron.  Here are the products I got to play with.  Thank you Wild Whisper and Xyron, Inc. for the amazing goodies!

IMG_6253

For my first card, I started out by cutting an A2 size white card stock and also die-cut a small rectangle masking paper by Inkadinkado, to mask the middle of my card.  I stamped the images onto my card stock with different stamp inks.

IMG_6254

I removed the mask, and positioned my stamp onto the card front so that I can stamp the sentiment right in the middle.  This technique made the sentiment pop even with the busy background.  I adhered the card stock to my card base with my favorite Xyron Mega Runner.

IMG_6252

To finish my design, I added glossy accents to the bottle images, and added a few colorful dots.

Here’s my card:

XyronWildWhisper1

For my second card, I stamped the doily image using versa mark ink on my Sahara Sand card stock.  I wanted the background to be subtle.  I then stamped the sentiment and the antlers.  I colored the antlers with my Copic markers.  I finished my design by adding the bow, and the gold stars.

XyronWildWhisper2

For my third card, I drew a circle on the center of my white card stock, and stamped the stars around the circle to create my wreath.  I stamped the antlers and the sentiment using Versafine Onyx black ink.  It is a very simple card but I love how it turned out.
