Foiled Flowers with Crafty Meraki & DecoFoil

Maria here on the blog with you and I hope everyone’s looking forward to the weekend!

Have you ever looked at your beautiful dies and thought “I really need to make these die-cuts extra special!” so instead of ink-blending them, I thought I’d do some foiling and make them extra sparkly!

For my project today, I am showcasing the Mila Meraki Flora Para-Dies, along with the CM Pagoni Mania Background A2 Para-Dies and CM Ivory Opal Gems.

I started by cutting some DecoFoil Toner Sheets measuring 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches and also cut DecoFoil Transfer Sheet in Mystic Rainbow.  I placed the foil on top of the toner sheet and run it through my laminator.

Next, I die-cut the foiled panel a few times using the Mila Meraki Flora Para-Dies.  The photos can’t even justify how beautiful they really look in person!

I die-cut the background panel using the CM Pagoni Mania Background A2 Para-Dies with some Creamy Rose Card Stock.  I adhered this panel on some A2-size, top-folding notecard.  I also die-cut the word “hello” using a die from my collection.

I adhered the foiled flowers onto the focal panel with liquid glue and foam-mounted the “hello” sentiment for added dimension.  I finished the card design by adhering some CM Ivory Opal Gems for added texture and interest.  Here’s another look at the card:

I hope you like this card today as much as I do.  Check out the new and exclusive Crafty Meraki Dies available now at the shop.  Below, you will find links to the supplies used to create this project(s). Where available, I use compensated affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Your support helps me to keep bringing you new projects and inspiration. You Guac My World with Kat Scrappiness

Hello KS fans! I have a fun card to share with you today, showcasing one of my favorite older KS stamp set called You Guac My World, along with the Double Stitched Rectangle Die Set, Congrats Word Die with Shadow, Stencil & Ink Blending Brushes, Fishtail Banner Dies and the Falling Stars 6×6 Stencil.

Here’s how I made this card:

  • Prepare the background by ink-blending a panel of Neenah solar white card stock measuring 4 x 5 1/4 inches, using the Stencil & Ink Blending Brush with the Falling Stars 6×6 Stencil and pink dye ink.
  • Using the same stencil, apply some Lime Chroma Glaze and Stencil Pal to spread the paste all over the background. Set this aside to let it dry for about 2 hours.
  • Stamp the image on some Neenah solar white card stock and color the images in with alcohol markers. Use Brother Scan N Cut machine or precision snips to cut the image out.
  • Once the background panel is dry, adhere the same on some A2-size notecard.
  • Die-cut the pink frame using the Double Stitched Rectangle Die Set on some pink card stock.
  • Foam-mount the frame on the card for added dimension.
  • Die cut the word “Congrats” on some Apple Green and White card stock using the Congrats Word Die with Shadow. Adhere them together with liquid glue.
  • Foam-mount the Congrats die-cut onto the card so that it is the same height with the frame.
  • Adhere the focal image using foam adhesive.
  • Add glossy accents to the Avocado image.
  • Die-cut some Apple Green Card Stock using the smallest die from the Fishtail Banner Die Set. Stamp the sentiment on this piece with Versamark ink and heat-set with heating tool.
  • Foam-mount the sentiment strip on the card to finish the design.

I hope you like this simple card today and got inspired. Below, you will find links to the supplies used to create this project(s). Clean and Simple Card with Crafty Meraki

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope everyone’s excited for the weekend!

Sometimes, creating a clean and simple card is just what I needed to relax and get rid of stress.  Coloring is very therapeutic and the perfect stamp set to color today is the Hug in a Mug stamp set that I am pairing with the Dancing Feathers Background A2 Die.

I started by stamping the images on some X-Press It Blending Card and colored the images in with alcohol markers.   I used my precision snips to cut the image out since I didn’t have the coordinating die.

I wanted some texture to the background so I die-cut some Neenah Classic Crest card stock using the Dancing Feathers Background A2 Die.  I adhered this panel on some A2-size notecard and added the focal image with liquid glue.   I finished the design by adding the sentiment that I heat-set with my heating tool.  Here’s another look at the card:

I know this card is really simple, but I love how this turned out.  I hope you like it too.  Below, you will find links to the supplies used to create this project(s). Where available, I use compensated affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Your support helps me to keep bringing you new projects and inspiration. Brace yourselves because we have A LOT to show you! For today’s reveal, we are showcasing the A Beautiful Day Stamp Set, A Beautiful Day Coordinating Confetti Cuts, along with the Roses Stamp Set, Roses Coordinating Confetti Cuts, Wildflowers Stamp Set and Wildflowers Coordinating Confetti Cuts.

For my first project, I also used the beautiful Folklore Cover Panel.

Simplicity is the key component for this first project. The background was die-cut using the Folklore Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and adhered on a top-folding notecard.

The images from the A Beautiful Day Stamp Set were stamped on some Bristol Smooth White card stock with Versamark ink, and heat-set with heating tool. I used some distress oxide inks to blend the colors on each butterfly, then used the A Beautiful Day Coordinating Confetti Cuts to die-cut the images.

I foam-mounted the die-cut images on the card panel for added dimension and finished the design by adhering the sentiment that was heat-embossed on some black card stock.

For my second project, I am showcasing the Roses Stamp Set and Roses Coordinating Confetti Cuts.

I die-cut the background panel using the Roses Confetti Cuts with some pattern paper. I adhered this panel with liquid glue on some top-folding notecard. I watered down some white paint and used the brush to splatter some on the background panel for added interest.

The images from the Roses Stamp Set were stamped on some X-Press It Blending Card and colored with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out and adhered on the card front with foam adhesive for added dimension. I finished the design by adding the sentiment strip. Here’s another look:

For my third and last project for the day, I am showcasing the Wildflowers Stamp Set and Wildflowers Coordinating Confetti Cuts, along with the Outlined Frame Cover Panel.

I die-cut the some Neenah solar white card stock using the Outlined Framed Cover Panel and adhered this on some blue top-folding notecard.

Next, I stamped the images from the Wildflowers Stamp Set on some X-Press it Blending card and colored the images in with alcohol markers. I used the Wildflowers Coordinating Die to die-cut the image and adhered on the card with liquid glue.

I finished the card design by stamping the sentiment and used some white gel pen to draw dots to the images for added texture. Here’s another look:

  • Ink-up this panel using a stencil and some Distress Oxide Inks.
  • Adhere this panel on a top-folding notecard halfway through so that it can be lifted up when opened by the recipient (see photo below)
  • Stamp the sentiment from the Birthday Buddies Banter Stamp Set on some black card stock with VersaMark ink and heat-set with the heating tool. Adhere the sentiment on the card with foam-adhesive so that when the card is opened, the main panel can stand up on its own.

I really LOVE the Circle Gift Card Holder Confetti Cuts and this is a must-have for any card-maker! Also, the Birthday Buddies Stamp set have the cutest images and I love that the Coordinating Confetti Cuts makes it super easy to die-cut the inside portion of the balloon strings!

  • Foam-mount the Large Rainbow Circle die-cut to the card front and use your paper trimmer to trim off the excess.
  • Finish the card design by adhering the hearts on the Large Rainbow Circle.
