Holiday Cheers Wine Tag with Newton’s Nook Designs

Hello and welcome! I am so happy that you stopped by today to see more inspiration using stamps, dies & pattern paper from the Newton’s Nook Designs October Release last week.

With the busy holiday season just around the corner, I wanted to get ahead of schedule creating cards and tags to accompany my holiday gifts. I decided to create a Christmas Wine Tag, showcasing the ADORABLE Newton’s Stocking stamp set and coordinating dies, along with the Meowy Christmas 6×6 Paper Pad and the sentiment from the Christmas Cocktails stamp set.

This is such a simple and cute project and you can easily create this tag for any occasion, just by changing the pattern paper and stamp set.

Do you want to know how I made it? Here’s how:

Cut your card stock measuring 7 3/4 x 2 3/4 inches. Using a scoring tool, score your card stock at 2 3/4 inches and fold.

Cut your pattern paper measuring 4 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches and 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches.

Before adhering the pattern paper on the card stock, use a Crop-A-Dile or corner-rounder punch to round out all the corners.

Adhere the pattern paper on the card stock with liquid glue. Use a circle die measuring 1 3/4 inches (or a round punch) to cut the hole on top of your tag.

Next, stamp the images from the Newton’s Stocking stamp set and color it in with alcohol markers (or any coloring medium of your choice). Die-cut the image using the coordinating die. Stamp the same image on pattern paper from Meowy Christmas Paper Pack. Adhere the same to the stocking with liquid glue.

Die-cut the Pine Needles and the Bow from the Pines & Holly die set. Adhere the pine needles first on the tag, then add the focal image with foam adhesive for more dimension. Adhere the red bow with liquid glue.

Add stickles to Newton’s Hat and stockings for texture. Finish the design by adding the sentiment. Stamp using Versamark ink on some black card stock and sprinkle with white embossing powder. Heat-set using heating tool and adhere to the stocking with liquid glue.

I hope I have given you some inspiration today to create a unique Christmas Tag using products you have from your stash. As you can see, this was very easy! If you re-create this tag and share on social media, I’d love for you to tag me so I can see your project.

The supplies I used are listed and linked below. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
