For Day 2 of the reveals we are showcasing with the Dear Santa stamp set and coordinating dies with the Nutcrackers stamp set and coordinating dies.
To make my first project, I started by stamping the images on some Neenah solar white card stock. The north pole and the little mouse images are from the Santa Paws Newton stamp set. I used the coordinating dies to die cut them all out.
On another A2-size panel of Neenah solar white, I stamped the little houses from the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set using some Fog ink to create a subtle background for my focal point. I used a blending brush and Tumbled glass distress oxide for added interest and texture.
Next, the snowbanks were die-cut using the Land Border die and adhered on the card using my ATG gun. I adhered the rest of the images with foam adhesive or liquid glue.
I finished my design my adding the sentiment that I heat-embossed on some black card stock. Here’s another look:
My next project is super fun! I did most of the steps I mentioned above to die-cut and color the images. The words “RA PUM PUM PUM” were die-cut on school bus red card stock to make it stand out.
I used the scallop die from the Frames & Flags die set to die-cut the mint blue patterned paper. I adhered this on an A2-size card base.
The shaker portion of the card was made by using a die from my collection and some Mirror Clear Confetti Dot Mix. I adhered this piece on the background with my ATG gun.
For added texture and interest, I added the Holly and Berries, die-cut using the Pines & Holly die set.
I finished my design by adding the sentiment with liquid glue. Here’s another look:
