I am super excited to share today’s post as we start the month with “SPECTember projects” with Spectrum Noir. For September 3, the prompt is CUTE COMPANIONS.
For my project today, I am showcasing the Joyful Heart Bears stamp set by MFT Stamps, the Get Grounded stamp set by The Ink Blot Shop, with the Spectrum Noir original coloring system markers, SN TriBlend markers, along with the SN Harmony Quick Dry Dye Inks on SN Ultra Smooth Premium White card stock.
To begin, I stamped the cute bear holding a heart balloon on SN ultra smooth premium white card stock and colored him in using my SN original coloring system marker in MB1 and MB2. I colored the balloon with my SN TriBlend marker in Pale Pink blend.
To create my scene, I stamped the clouds and stars using SN Harmony Quick Dry Dye ink in Sand Storm. I colored the clouds with my SN original alcohol marker in IB1 and my blender pen. The stars were colored with my SN Triblend marker in Citrus Blend.
I used the Get Grounded stamp set to stamp the grass with some SN Harmony Quick Dry Dye ink in Grasshopper. I also used some blending brushes to add more color to the grass using the same dye ink.
To finish my design, I stamped the butterfly and colored him in using my SN Triblend marker in Green Turquoise blend. Here’s what it looks like:
I love that Spectrum Noir markers and the Harmony Quick Dry Dye inks just perfectly work so well together. The Harmony quick dry dye inks are alcohol proof so you can use it with the SN TriBlend, SN original coloring system markers or the new SN Illustrators. There isn’t going to be any smudging. Here’s a closer look at my card:
I hope you like my card today and got inspired. The supplies I used are listed and linked below. To find out more information about the Spectrum Noir products, please visit http://www.spectrumnoir.com.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and happy coloring!
