There’s Snow One Like You with Kat Scrappiness

Hello my crafty peeps! Maria here with you today and I’m back with a Christmas card, showcasing the Merry Critters stamp set.  I LOVE this stamp set so much and I just couldn’t wait to play with it.

I started by stamping my images on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers.  The little yellow bird reminds me so much of tweety!   Here’s what the stamp set look like:

Since this stamp set didn’t come with coordinating dies, I die-cut the images using my Brother Scan N Cut 2.

I inked up my background with some distress oxide inks.  I ahve been loving the Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar color combination lately!  It gives the perfect wintery-sky!  Here’s my card:

I used some white glittered card stock as well to create my snow hill.  I think this card turned out so cute.  Here’s a little close-up:

I hope you like my project today.  The supplies I used are listed and linked blow.  Please consider supporting me by clicking on those links.  Don’t forget to use my coupon code “MARIA10” for 10% off your order.  Have an amazing day!

For my projects today, I used both stamp sets and also the new stand-alone dies.  I JUST LOVE THEM! They are so versatile!  Here’s what they look like:

I started out by stamping my images on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers.  I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies.  I also die-cut the tags on 110 white card stock, as well as patterned paper.  I wanted to use the edge dies to create some added dimension and details to my tags.  Here are the tags:

NNDHotCocoa

For my card, I stamped the image on Neenah solar white and decided to just color one snowman.  I wanted him to stand out from the rest of the image.  I also used the Frames and Flags die to die-cut a Bristol Smooth white card stock measuring 4 1/4 by 5 1/2.  I colored my card front  with my favorite Broken China Distress Oxide Ink using my blending tool.  I spritzed it with water and dabbed it with my paper towel.  I adhered the image to the colored background.  I also heat embossed my sentiment to finish my design.  Here’s what the card looks like:

For my first card, I am showcasing the All Aboard for Christmas stamp set and dies.

NNDOCT17AllAboardforChristmas

I started out by stamping by images on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers.  I cut an A2-sized solar white card stock and colored it using my stamping tool with my broken china distress oxide ink.  I used my Distress Sprayer to spray some water on my card front, and dabbed it with a dry paper towel.

I die-cut the rest of the elements that I needed to create my scene.  I finished the design by adding White Nuvo Crystal Drops and Red Berry Nuvo Crystal Drops.  Here’s my first card:

For the second card, I am showcasing the Sentiments of the Season stamp set with the Snowfall stencil.

I die-cut an A2 size Bristol Smooth White card stock and inked up my background with the Snowfall stencil, ink blending tool and my Broken China distress ink.  I die-cut the middle using a die from my stash.  I also die-cut the pinecones and the pine needles with the Pines and Holly doe set.  I finished the design by adding some 4 mm crystal clear sequins to the snowflake images.  Here’s the second card:
