Card-makers around the world are united today as we celebrate WORLD CARD-MAKING DAY!  I am so excited to share today’s post because Cas-ual Fridays has a huge treat in store for participants.  Please read though at the end of my post to find out how you can WIN  gift codes at the shop and the grand prize will be A SPOT AS A GUEST-DESIGNER with Cas-ual Fridays Stamps!

For today’s card, I am showcasing the Serendipi-tea stamp set and the Tea-pot fri-dies.  Here’s what they look like:

 

 

 

 

 

To begin, I die-cut the tea pot and coffee cups using the the tea-pot fri-dies with some Neenah solar white card stock.  I positioned the die-cuts back on the card stock with some low tack tape and put them in my MISTI stamping tool to stamp the images.  I did this because the dies are solid and I want to be able to stamp them perfectly.  I colored the images with alcohol markers.

 

I cut another A2 size Neenah white card stock and used a die from my stash to cut the three windows.  I wanted to add some fun shaker elements to this card.  I die-cut an A2 size acetate sheet and adhered in onto the back of the card.  I added some orange sequins and foam mounted this on some blue card base.  I also foam-mounted the coffee cups and the tea pot on the foreground.  Here’s what it looks like:

 

 

To finish my design, I die-cut some orange hearts and adhered them onto my card.  I also adhered some blue droplets for added texture and dimension.  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine onyx black ink.  Here’s a closer look:
