NND May Release Day 4 – Newton’s Hanging Basket Stamp Set & Dies + Giveaway

Hello and Welcome to the Newton’s Nook May Release Day 4. For Day 4, we are showcasing the Newton’s Hanging Basket Stamp Set and Newton’s Hanging Basket Coordinating Dies.

The background was made by inking up a panel of Bristol Smooth White Card Stock with Distress Oxide Inks in Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmon and Mustard Seed.

Leave the ink-blended panel to dry for about 20 minutes then use the Tropical Leaves Stencil and apply some Ranger Distress Matte Texture Paste using some Palette Knife. This will add a lot of texture to the focal panel. Allow this to dry for another half an hour and adhere on some top-folding notecard.

Next, create the frame by using the Reverse Scallop Frame from the Framework Die Set and adhere some Vellum for added texture. Foam-mount this frame onto the card for more dimension.

Stamp the image on some Neenah Solar White Card stock and color the images in with alcohol markers. Use the coordinating die to die-cut the image and adhere on the focal panel.

NND JUNE Release Day 2 – FLAMINGO OVAL

It’s Day 2 of the June reveals by Newton’s Nook Designs! I hope you were able to check out yesterday’s reveal as well. For Day 2 of the reveals, we are showcasing the Flamingo Oval Stamp Set that goes perfectly with the previously released Oval Fames Die Set that I also paired with the Tropical Leaves Stencil.

The background panel was die-cut using scallop die from the Frames & Flags Die Set. I used the Tropical Leaves Stencil and some texture paste for added interest and texture. Once the panel was dry, I adhered it onto some white A2-size notecard.

I stamped the Flamingo Oval image on some X-Press It Blending Card and colored the images in with alcohol markers. I used the Oval Fames Die Set to cut the oval and also used precision snips to cut out the middle of the images. I foam-mounted this onto the card for added dimension.

The sentiment was stamped on white card stock and coloring the word “THANKS” with some yellow markers. I added this onto some black card stock and adhered on the card with foam-adhesive. I finished the card design by adding some gold pearls. I love mixing pinks with white and gold! Here’s another look at the card:
