For my project today, I am showcasing the Monster Love 4×6 stamp set and its Monster Love coordinating die set. I am also featuring the Slimline Cards Series: Scalloped Card Panels and Banner die set. New products are available for purchase now and are listed and linked below.
To make the card, I started by die-cutting my slimline card panel using the biggest die from the Slimline Card Series: Scalloped Card Panels and Banner die set with some Bristol Smooth white card stock. I ink-blended this background with distress oxide inks with the Blending Buddy White Bristle Blending Brush.
Next, I sprayed the colored panel with water using my distress sprayer and dabbed it with a paper towel. I used a circle die from my stash to create the windows for my stamped images. I adhered some acetate sheet on the back of this panel with some liquid adhesive. I also added some foam adhesive to create the well for my shaker card. I added the I’ve Got My Eye On You – Mixed Green Eyes Sprinkles, the Dot Your Eyes – Mixed Violet Eye Sprinkles and the Crafty Love – mixed-sized Clay Heart Sprinkles as my shaker element. I adhered this piece on a slimline card base measuring 3 1/2 by 8 1/2.
I stamped my images from the Monster Love 4×6 stamp set on some Neenah solar white card stock and colored the images in with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I used the Monster Love coordinating die set to die-cut the images. I adhered the images on my card using some liquid glue.
I stamped the sentiments on black strips with Versamark ink and sprinkled some white embossing powder, then heat-setting using my Wagner heating tool. I adhered the sentiments on the card with my tape runner.
To finish my design, I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and sprinkled some embossing powder, then heat-set using my heating tool. I added some white heart sprinkles to adorn the card and glossy accents to the heart for more texture and dimension. Here’s another look:
