Back today with Cas-ual Fridays Stamps sharing this humorous card, showcasing the 4×6 This Sucks stamp set with the Tin Roof Stencil and Jumping Jacks Fri-Dies.
To begin, I used a patterned paper from my stash and stuck this panel on my mat with some removable tape. I used Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet distress oxide inks with the Tin Roof stencil to add more interest to the background. I set this piece aside to dry for about half an hour.
I used my powder bag to remove static on the card panel and stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink. I sprinkled white embossing powder and heat-set this piece with my heating tool. I adhered this panel on an A2 size side-fold card base.
I die-cut two decorative borders using a die from my stash and foam-mounted the pieces on my card. I finished my design by die-cutting the Jumping Jacks Fri-Dies on some white card stock and adhered them with liquid glue. I added some iridescent jewels to further adorn the card. Here’s what it looks like:
This card will definitely cheer someone who is having a bad day!
I hope you like my project today and got inspired. The supplies I used are listed and linked below. Please don’t forget to use my coupon code below to get 15% off your order. Have and amazing day and happy stamping!

Today, I am sharing a birthday card showcasing the Let’s Party stamp set. I started by stamping my images on some Neenah solar white 110 lb. card stock and colored my images in using some Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I die-cut the images using the coordinating dies.
I inked up an A-2 size piece of Bristol smooth white card stock with Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink. To add more texture, I added some gold splatters on the colored background using my Sakura watercolor and my watercolor brush. I waited for about half an hour for this to dry, and adhered this piece on an A2 size card base.
I die-cut the words “Happy Birthday” a few times on white card stock using a die from Mama Elephant. I inked up the top piece with some Dusty Concord distress oxide ink.
I foam-mounted the die-cut panel on my colored background. This frame piece was die-cut using the Gift Box cover up die-namics from My Favorite things. I adhered the Happy Birthday die-cut on the foreground and added my cute critters. Here’s my card:
To finish my design, I added some glossy accents to the balloon for added texture and dimension and also adhered the little gift boxes between the two dogs. Here’s a little close-up:

For my card below, I am featuring the Cup of Cocoa stamp set and its coordinating dies, the Sweater Weather stamp set and coordinating dies and the Sky borders die set.
Just like my first blog post, I stamped the images on Copic friendly ink and colored them in with my Copic markers. I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies. I inked up a piece os Bristol smooth white card stock with my Distress Oxide inks and used a circle trio die from my stash to cut the windows.
I adhered the colored background onto my card base with some foam adhesive. I also die-cut another piece of white card stock using the sky borders die set. I adhered the images with foam adhesive and some Nuvo liquid glue.
To finish my design, I die-cut the little bows and also stamped the sentiment. Here’s a little close-up of my card:
I don’t know about you but this kitty cat certainly makes me want to put on some skinny jeans, UGG boots and comfy sweater and drink hot chocolate all day long! Okay, maybe not all day because I now have low-tolerance on caffeine but maybe two cups will be my limit! Haha! Here’s another look:

is featured on the Simon Says Stamp
site with an EXCLUSIVE stamp set that was designed just for the 2018 STAMPtember celebration! You can purchase the new Hello Beautiful Stamp Set and coordinating die sets today at Simon Says Stamp. Remember, these items are ONLY available through Simon Says Stamp while supplies last!
Today I am sharing two projects I created using this stamp set. Here’s what they look like
I started out by stamping my images on some smooth white card stock and I colored them in with my Copic markers. I fussy-cut the image with my precision scissors. For my first card below, I also used the Everglade Collage Wafer Dies
by Simon Says Stamp and an older stamp set by Newton’s Nook called Newton’s Autumn. I stamped the leaves on some white card stock, colored them in with my Copic markers and die cut the leaves using the coordinating dies. I adhered the leaves on my collage frame.
I cut an A2 size piece of some Bristol Smooth white card stock and inked it up with Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink. I used my Darice Cats embossing folder
to add some cute texture to this colored background. I die-cut some white card stock with the Everglade Collage Wafer Dies
and adhered this piece onto my colored and embossed background.
I assembled my card by adhering my foreground to my card base. Here’s my first card:
Also added some blue enamel dots from my stash and used my white gel pen to add more details to the card to finish the design. Here’s another look:
For my second card, I created a simple one-layer birthday card using the cute images from the stamp set.
Also used my white gel pen to add more details to the little pups and to the balloons to give it a whimsical touch. To finish my design, I used glossy accents to make the balloons shine!
I hope you like my projects today. Please visit Simon Says Stamp

Hello Kat Scrappiness fans! I hope you are all having a great week so far. I’m back on the blog today sharing with you this cute card, featuring the Punny Snacks stamp set, the Condensed Lower Case Alpha Dies and the new Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Dies. I love the new scalloped dies so much.
I don’t know about you, but I like to keep a stash of “just-because” cards to give to family and friends. I love the “Ghost Inlaid Technique” that I added to this card using the Condensed Lowercase Alphabet Dies and even though it looks complicated, it really isn’t. I have a process video for you all today (linked below) so I will keep this blog post short.
Here’s what the card looks like. I added some cute girly, eyelashes to the soda image on the left side.
Also added some black polka dots to the whole background to finish it off. I LOVE the cute little smiley faces from the Punny Snack stamp set. They are adorable!
This M.F.E.O. Quote is one of my favorite scenes from the movie, Sleepless in Seattle. I thought it was really funny!
Here’s the YouTube process video if you would like to see how I made the card:
I hope I have given you some inspiration today. Please visit www.katscrappiness.com today the supplies I used. They’re also listed and linked below. Have a wonderful day!
Hello Newton’s Nook fans! I hope you guys were able to join us last week for the May stamps and dies release by Newton’s Nook Designs. I am back today to share with you a simple card, showcasing the Newton Loves Boxes stamp set and coordinating dies.
I started out by stamping my images on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers. I die-cut another piece of white card stock and dry-embossed it with the new Framework Die set. I used another die from my stash to die-cut the window. I adhered my image inside the window and finished the design by adding the stamp from the In Slow Motion stamp set. Also added the flowers from the the Deer Friend stamp set. Here’s my card:
I just absolutely love the simplicity for this card.
This card is going to be massed-produced since hubby and I will be moving location soon.
I hope you got inspired today. The stamps and dies for the May release are now available for purchase. The supplies I used are listed and linked below. Have a wonderful day!
Hello my crafty friends! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! I’m back today with a very special card. It is the start of the Holy Week and this is the perfect time to reflect. Don’t get me wrong; this isn’t the only time to show our faith. I think everyday we open our eyes, we should start thanking the Lord for all the blessings that we have in our lives. I’ve always been religious in my own way. However, I am not going to go into all the details of what I do to show my faith.
Today’s card features a stamp set that is very new to me. I was searching for a stained glass stamp set because I have this design that I’ve had in my head for a card. I found the perfect stamp set through YouTube. This stamp set is called Layered Stained Glass by Maymay Made It.
I started out by stamping the image on Neenah solar white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I stamped the layers using Ballet Slippers, Minty Fresh and Fresh Lavender inks by Lawn Fawn with my Tim Holtz stamp platform.
I used a die from my stash to create the mantelpiece and also used a leaf punch to cut the greenery. To finish my design, I used my “Faith” die from Simon Says Stamp and also stamped the sentiment “Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself”. Here’s the card:
I absolutely love this scripture! Here’s a little close-up below! Can you see the details on the mantelpiece? I embossed it with my embossing folder to make it look like concrete. I have visited a LOT of churches in Europe and it is spot on!
I wanted to add glossy accents to make it look like real glass so I’ll probably add it later on. For now, here’s the card:
I hope you got inspired today. I have listed and linked the supplies I used below. Have a great holy week!
I was requested to donate some cards at the local Children’s Hospital where I live. I was supposed to make it very simple, kid-friendly with no sequins or glitter. Since Valentine’s Day is fast-approaching, I decided to use the new Love Bites stamp set by Newton’s Nook Designs.
The Love Bites stamp set is so versatile, you can create so many different projects using this set. It doesn’t have to be Valentine’s-related. You can also use it to make cute little notes to your kids to add to their lunchboxes, or just leave them notes to brighten their day.
I have a video tutorial for you creating 3 projects so I will keep this blog post short. Here are my projects:

Thanks for stopping by today. I have listed and linked all the supplies below. Have a great day!
