Buzzed with The Rabbit Hole Designs

Hello The Rabbit Hole Designs fans!  The Rabbit Hole Designs is one of the super sponsors for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog hop, so you will be seeing A LOT of coffee-themed cards from the design team this week.

For my project today, I am showcasing the Caffeinated Bee stamp set.

TRHDCaffeinatedBee2A

Card recipe:

  • stamp the bee image on some Neenah classic crest solar white 110 lb card stock and color him in with alcohol markers (or any medium of your choice).
  • I used my Brother Scan N Cut 2 Machine to die-cut the image.
  • I used my Medallion Coverplate die to die-cut an A2 size panel with some white card stock.
  • I used a circle die to die-cut the middle piece of this panel and I inked up this small circle with some distress oxide inks and my hexagon stencil.  I adhered this piece on the card stock.
  • I used an alphabet die from my stash to die-cut the words #BUZZED on some black card stock.
  • I adhered the pieces on the card.
  • I used another branch die from my stash to die-cut the branch and leaves, coloring them with my alcohol markers.  I adhered the pieces on my card.
  • Lastly, I used foam adhesive to adhere my Caffeinated Bee.

Here’s a little close-up:

Since I have a white-on-white background, I used my Dandelion Yellow Nuvo Crystal Drops to add some pop of color to my card.  I hope you like my project today.  The Supplies I used are listed and linked below.

Coffee-themed Card with Miss Ink Stamps

It’s week 4 guest-designing for Miss Ink Stamps and for today’s card, I am showcasing the Java Joes stamp set and my new love, Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers.  Here’s what the stamp set look like:

javajoes_540x

I started by stamping my images on some Neenah classic crest 110 lb. solar white card stock  with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink (this is an alcohol-friendly ink).  I colored my images in with my TriBlend Markers.  The video below will show you how I colored my card, using the markers.  I just love, love, love the new TriBlends.  You get 3 markers out of one and they blend so easily.  Spectrum Noir will be coming out with more colors soon and I highly recommend them.

Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – KatScrappiness Coffee and You

coffee lovers blog hop logo_spring

It’s that time of the year again and I am so excited to be participating in the “Spring Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop”.  I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Amy Tsuruta and the rest of her team responsible for facilitating this great hop!  I don’t know how you guys do it but you all rock!

Today I made a card showcasing products from the #KatScrappiness shop (www.katscrappiness.com).    THERE IS A SPECIAL COUPON CODE at the shop during the duration of the hop only, so hurry and shop for all the crafty products you’ve all wanted to order from the shop (use coupon code: “SPRINGCOFFEE” for 15% off your order).

I started out by stamping my bear image (Gerda Steiner Warm Fuzzies stamp set)  using my stamping tool with memento tuxedo black ink on Neenah Solar White card stock. I colored my image in with my Copic markers, then used my precision cut scissors to fuzzy-cut the image.

Using the largest of the Stitched Fancy Scalloped Rectangle dies, I die-cut my front panel with the Doodlebug Cream & Sugar 6 X 6 paper pad. I also created the half-circle window using a die from my stash.

To finish off my design, I die-cut the trees, stamped my sentiment on the banner, and adhered them all to the card. For my final touch, I used my new favorite, Crystal Nuvo Drops in Dandelion. Here is my card:

Newton Loves Coffee ~ Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

winter-coffee-lovers-blog-hop

It’s that time of the year again and I am so excited to be participating in the “Winter Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop”.  I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Amy Tsuruta and the rest of her team responsible for facilitating this great hop!  I don’t know how you guys do it but you all absolutely rock!

Today I have made a card showcasing products from the #KatScrappiness store, as a Design Team member.  Incidentally, today is also Kat’s birthday so there is a sale at the shop for all Halloween/Fall/Christmas category for 15% off (no coupon code necessary).  The promo is valid from today until December 11, 2016 (ends at midnight PST).  Here is the link to the shop http://www.katscrappiness.com/?aff=21  You will also get a free bag of jingle bells for every order  during this time frame.

I started out by stamping my image using my stamping tool with memento tuxedo black ink on Neenah Solar White card stock. I colored Newton and the coffee image using my Copic markers W1, W2 and W5, R00, R29 and R39.

I wanted to use warm Christmas colors for this card so I die-cut the front panel using my Gina Marie wonky stitches nesting dies, and the Bo Bunny 6×6 Paper Pad Merry & Bright Collection. Red and Beige just goes so well together.

I also used a wreath die that I recently purchased and embellished it with the new Deck the Halls sequin mix by Kat Scrappiness. I love this new sequin mix.

I finished off the design by adding the snowflake sequin on the coffee mug and Santa hat for Newton. I hope you like my card. Check out the new sequin mixes and script dies available at the shop – they are amazing! The supplies I’ve used are listed and linked below.
