To begin, I stamped the dragonflies on some Bristol Smooth white card stock with Versamark ink. I sprinkled some white embossing powder, and heat-set with my heating tool. I use the coordinating dies to cut them out.
Next, I used my mini-sponge daubers to color the dragonflies with some distress oxide inks.
I cut some patterned paper strip and adhere this on an A2 size card base. To create more texture to the background, I stamped the dragonflies with some Fog ink. I cut a strip of black card stock and adhered it onto the card.
I foam-mounted the dragonflies on the card for added dimension.
To finish my design, I stamped the sentiment and adhered some sparkling clear droplets for added texture and interest.
Don’t forget to leave a comment on the Cas-ual Fridays post for a chance to win the $25 gift certificate. The supplies I use are listed and linked below. Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!
