Lawnscaping Sketch Challenge 128

I am back from my anniversary trip from Greece and today I am joining the Lawnscaping Blog Sketch Challenge No. 128 using one of my favorite Lawn Fawn stamp sets called Fairy Friends.  I just can’t stop playing around with this set and this time, I used it for a birthday card.  I also used a couple of older Lawn Fawn stamp sets and dies.  The supplies I have used are listed below for your reference.   You will also find a photo of the sketch challenge if you decide to join.  Remember, you only have until Wednesday to finish your card.

I am also entering this card for another challenge at Crafters With Artitude Facebook group and my friend, Sandi Nagel is hosting this month’s challenge called “Solid Gold”. You can basically create anything your heart desire, using Gold and bling.

Here is my rendition of the sketch challenge #128:

Lawn Fawn Love You Tons Shaker Card

While I was back home, I managed to do some shopping and acquired a lot of Lawn Fawn stamps. Lawn Fawn is currently one of my favorites. I am also currently obsessed with Copic Markers (although I am still a novice when it comes to blending, but I am trying my best!).

I wanted to make a fun and simple shaker card so I decided to play with my Love You Tons stamp set from LF, and my new Peek-A-Boo die from Pretty Pink Posh (also just recently acquired from my shopping trip). I love all the colors that I have used for this card. I think simplicity is the key to a great card. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Happy crafting!

Pop-Up Card

I have created this card for Mother’s Day. Unfortunately, I was not able to post it here on my Blog because my hubby and I traveled back home to Orlando to see our family, and move our daughter out of her dorm. It has been a busy month of May so far for me. I apologize for neglecting this Blog but I promise to post more regularly from now on.

This card is perfect not only for Mother’s Day but for any occasion. I hope that you will give it a try. I would love to hear from you if you did.

Happy Crafting!

2 Valentine Box Cards ~ 1 Card Stock (Tutorial)

This is a very easy tutorial to follow to create 2 box cards out of one 8 ½ x 11 card stock:

2 pieces – Designer Series paper – cut at 1 ¾ X 5 ¼
6 pieces – Designer Series paper – cut at 1 ¾ X 2 ½
3 pieces – card stock cut at 3 X 1 ¼ (these pieces will go in the middle of your box card to hold the embellishments
Optional ~ 3 pieces of card stock cut at 2 inches wide using a decorative die or deco punch
Acetate sheets
Stickers and other ephemeras to decorate your box card
Double-sided tape or Tombow Glue
Mini Glue Dots

My Once Upon A Time Chipboard Album

I am so happy that I finally finished my Once Upon A Time chipboard album. This has been an 8-month process and I almost gave up and didn’t finish the album. After putting it away for a few months, I decided to start on it again and somehow found the inspiration to finish it.

The album is 9.5 x 11 inches and it is very heavy. It will be kept in a keepsake box to protect the decoration on the album. I used a lot of Tim Holtz and Stampin’ Up! dies to decorate the pages. It was too difficult for me to cover the DCWV paper that I used in the whole album, because the designs were just too pretty.

I know that compared to some of the albums that you see on the internet, mine is not even as beautiful as what the others have posted on YouTube; but I am quite happy and proud of what I have achieved in the whole process of putting it together.

I hope you all check it out and see if you like my album. Hopefully it will give you some ideas on how to decorate yours.

Do some crafting with your kids, grandkids, etc. and create some great memories! XO!
