NND January Release Day 3 – Never Enough Dogs & Coordinating Dies + Giveaway

For Day 3, we are showcasing the Never Enough Dogs Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I also used the Circle Frames Die Set for my project today.

My card below is very simple but I love how it turned out!

I started by stamping the image on some X-Press It Blending Card and colored the image in with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out. I adhered the pattern paper from the Love & Woofs Paper Pad on the card base.

The scallop circle and the scallop pattern paper were die-cut using the Circle Frames Die Set and foam-mounted onto the card for added dimension.

I adhered the focal image with liquid glue and finished the design by adding the sentiment that I heat-embossed on black card stock. Here’s another look:

NND January Release Day 2 – Newton’s Heart Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies + Giveaway

For Day 2, we are showcasing the Newton’s Heart Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I also used the Petite Hearts Stencil and Heart Frames Die Set for my project today.

I started by stamping the image on some X-Press It Blending Card and colored the image in with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out.

Next, I used the Petite Hearts Stencil and some white texture paste to add texture to some Neenah Solar White card stock. I let this panel dry for about half an hour, then adhered it on some white top-folding card base.

The hearts were die-cut using the Heart Frames Die Set with the new Love & Woofs Paper Pad and last year’s Valentine release, Love & Meows Paper Pad. The flag banner was cut using my precision snips to add the fishtail, and adhered on the card with liquid glue. I adhered the hearts with the tape runner, and added the focal image.

Don’t you just love the pattern papers by Newton’s Nook Designs?! They all go perfectly well together!

I finished my card design by stamping the sentiment and adding some puffy heart stickers for added texture and interest. Here’s another look:

NND January Release Day 1 – Puppy Heart Stamp & Dies with 2 Paper Pads + Giveaway

For Day 1 of the reveals, we are showcasing the Puppy Heart Stamp Set and coordinating dies, with the Love & Woofs Paper Pad and Love & Chocolate Paper pad. Incidentally, the Love & Chocolate Paper Pad will go perfectly well with the Love & Chocolate stamp set.

I started by stamping the image on some X-Press It Blending Card and colored the image in with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out. I also used the Frames & Flags Die Set to cut out the scallop frame and the stitched banner with the Love & Woofs Paper Pad and adhered the scallop panel on some red card base.

Next, I die-cut the red tag using the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set and foam-mounted this piece on the card for added dimension. I added the stitched banner and the focal image on the tag with liquid glue.

I finished the card design by stamping the sentiment and adding the die-cut arrows, as well as some red enamel heart. Here’s another look:

I have a small Christmas tree in my studio and since Christmas ornaments are not available here (overseas), I figured I’ll make my own.  For my projects today, I am showcasing the Ornament Shaker Die Set with the Holiday Greetings Die Set.

Here’s how I made these ornaments:

  • die-cut the ornaments and ornament tops with some silver and rose gold card stock.  Since I needed 6 ornaments, I had to die-cut it a few times.
  • die-cut the acetate sheets using the outer ornament die.  Adhere the same with liquid glue.
  • add foam adhesive to create the shaker well.
  • use some chunky glitter as the shaker element.  Adhere the other piece to close the shaker.

  • die-cut the words “merry” and “bright” with some rose gold card stock.  Adhere these words on the ornaments with liquid glue.
  • adhere the ornament tops using liquid glue.  Don’t forget to also adhere the ornament tops on the back side.
  • use some silver ribbon to the ornament to hang them on the tree.
  • decorate the Christmas tree!

Slimline Christmas Card with Newton’s Nook

Hello my crafty friends! I finally received my household effects and was able to start creating Christmas cards for friends. For today’s project, I am showcasing one of my all-time favorite stamp set by Newton’s Nook Designs called Naughty or Mice with its coordinating dies along with Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set, Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set and the cute little bow is from the Pines & Holly Die Set.

Here’s how I made this card:

  • adhere the colored images with foam adhesive for dimension.
  • stamp the sentiment on some black card stock with Versamark ink. Sprinkle some white embossing powder and heat-set with the Heating Tool/Gun. Adhere the sentiment with liquid glue.
  • die-cut the red bow using the bow die from the Pines & Holly Die Set and adhere on the card.
  • finish the card design by using some white gel pen to add some dots and stars for more interest and texture.

NND October Release Day 4 – Snowflake Oval + Giveaway

For Day 4, we are showcasing the Snowflake Oval Stamp Set that coordinates with the Oval Frames Die Set.

I started by prepping the pink card stock with the anti-static powder tool. I stamped the image with Versamark ink and sprinkled some gold embossing powder, then heat-set with the heating tool.

I stamped the sentiment also with Versamark ink and used the same gold embossing powder.

Next, I die-cut the focal panel using the Oval Frames Die Set and foam-mounted on a gold oval frames notecard for added dimension. This card is really simple but I love how it turned out.

For Day 3, we are showcasing the Christmas Nap Stamp Set + Coordinating Dies with the Newton’s Gift Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies.

I started by stamping my images on some X-Press It Blending Card and colored the images in with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, I ink-blended some Bristol Smooth white card stock and covered the bottom part with masking tape. I used the Starfield Stencil and Antique Linen Distress oxide ink with my blending brush. I removed the masking tape and lightly ink-blended the same color at the bottom of the panel. I adhered this on some A2-size white notecard.

I added the focal image on the card with foam adhesive for more dimension. I stamped the sentiment using Versamark ink on a strip of red card stock. I sprinkled some white embossing powder and heat-set with the heating tool, adhering the sentiment with liquid glue. Here’s another look:

My next project was also stamped on some X-Press It blending card and die-cut with the coordinating die. I also die-cut the tag using the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set with the new Canine Christmas Paper Pad and some Neenah solar white card stock, adhering them with liquid glue.

The focal image was foam-mounted onto the tag for added dimension.

I finished the tag by adding some red ribbon and gold jingle bell, then stamped the sentiment with some red dye ink. Here’s another look:

For Day 2, we are showcasing the Christmas Haul Stamp Set + Coordinating Dies with the Wreath Pups Stamp Set + Coordinating Dies.

I started by stamping my images on some X-Press It Blending Card and colored the images in with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, I ink-blended some Bristol Smooth white card stock with some Distress Oxide ink and adhered this panel on some A2-size notecard. I die-cut a panel of some Neenah Solar white card stock using the oval die from the Oval Frames Die Set to create a window. I dry-embossed this using some embossing folder and foam-mounted this panel for added dimension.

I covered the card front with some masking tape and use some diluted white gouache to add some white splatters on the background for added texture. I adhered the focal image on the panel with liquid glue. Lastly, I added some white pearls for added texture and interest and stamped the sentiment with black ink to finish the design. Here’s another look:

My next project has a ton of texture! I used the Snowfall Stencil with some texture paste on some Neenah Solar White Card Stock. I set this aside to dry for about half an hour and adhered this panel on some A2-size notecard.

Next, I die-cut some Bristol Smooth White card using a die from the Frames & Flags Die Set and ink-blended this panel with some distress oxide inks. I also die-cut the snowbank using the Land Border Die and adhered this piece on the card with liquid glue.

Foam-mounting the focal image was necessary to create more dimension to this rather simple card. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with heating tool and adhered on the card with liquid glue.

I finished the card design by using some white gel pen to add some dots and stars for added texture and interest. Here’s another look:

NND October Release Day 1 – Holiday Heights + Canine Christmas & Christmas Time Paper Pad + Christmas Tree Line Stencil + Giveaway

For Day 1 of the reveals, we are showcasing the Holiday Heights Stamp Set + Coordinating Dies, along with the Canine Christmas and Christmas Time Paper Pad with the Christmas Tree Line Stencil.

I started by stamping my images on some X-Press It Blending Card and colored the images in with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

On some A2-size Neenah solar white card stock, I used some masking tape and temporarily adhere it diagonally and used some blending brush and SpuN Sugar Distress Oxide ink to slightly add color to this panel. I then used the Starfield Stencil and some texture paste to add more texture to the panel. I set this aside to let it dry for about half an hour and adhered the colored image to the panel.

Next, I adhered the card front on some red notecard. I also adhered some white card stock inside the notecard measuring 4 X 5 1/4.

I die-cut the sentiment strip using a one of the dies from the Frames & Flags die set. I stamped the sentiment using VersaMark ink and sprinkled some white embossing powder. I used my heating tool to heat set and adhered the strip onto the card with liquid glue.

I finished the card design by adding a gold star on top of the tree and gold baubles for added texture. Here’s another look:
