Lawn Fawn Baaah Humbug – Lawnscaping Challenge No. 117
Another challenge has been posted by the Lawnscaping Team called Thinking of you; this is challenge number 117. I decided to create a very sweet Christmas card using Lawn Fawn’s Baaah Hambug stamp set. I think this set is so adorable! This is my entry for the current challenge.
I first colored the images with my Copics and decided to also use the Snowy Backdrop, Sweater Weather tree die, as well as the Stitched Border dies to create my winter scene. Here is my card:
Thank you all for visiting my Blog and have an amazing day!
Rock Lobster Stamp Set by JessicaLynnOriginal
I am thrilled to finally be able to post photos of this new stamp set by Jessica Lynn Original called Rock Lobster. I love Brentwood, but don’t you just love that little smiley fish? It’s so adorable! Jessica is such a talented artist and a wonderful person; I am so proud to be a member of her design team.
Below you will find a photo of the stamp set. I think this will be a great addition to your collection. Just like the rest of Jessica’s stamps, this is made of high quality photo polymer material. You don’t have to be a skilled stamper to use this set.
Since today is Halloween, I wanted to create a Halloween card. I have always believed that you can use any stamp set for any occasion, with just a little imagination. I always liked stretching my stamps and dies. Since Brentwood is already dressed up as a lobster for Halloween, I figured he needed some confetti to go along and celebrate my favorite holiday! I also used my We Are Memory Keepers Fuse tool for the first time to create a flat shaker. Note to self: next time, do not touch the fuse tool with your fingers to check it it’s hot enough! Ouch!
The next card is one of my all time favorites! I think everything just worked and blended together beautifully. I love the colors on this card. I used my Avery Elle Wonky Stitched rectangle die to create the frame for my shaker card. I used a combination of blue, iridescent and white sequins and seed beads for my shaker elements. A video tutorial will be posted soon on my YouTube channel so please stay tuned for that.
I hope you like what I’ve created. Please don’t forget to go to www.jessicalynnoriginal.com to grab this stamp set. Happy Halloween!
3 Halloween Projects Using Tombow Mono Liquid Glue
As most of you probably already know, I love creating cute projects and I love entertaining! I also like spending time creating my own treat bags for kids. Mine are both grown now but I still make them treat bags every holiday. The only difference is, the treat bags and cards I make for them are more catered to adults.
Where my hubby and I live, we don’t get a lot of trick-or-treaters in the neighborhood. I’m lucky if I get 6 kids on Halloween. I always make a ton of treat bags just in case I get more. This year, I decided to spoil the ones that do come. Here are 3 projects that my regular trick-or-treaters will get this year!
First, cute little treat bags! Gathering my supplies, I die-cut my paper/card stock using my treat bag die – as well as stamp and die-cut the pieces that I will use to decorate my bags. When I assemble boxes, treat bags, cards or any 3D projects, I like to use my favorite liquid glue (Tombow Mono). The liquid glue gives you more time to maneuver your project and it is critical to use this glue for bags and boxes. As you can see on the photo below, I only use a little because this glue goes a long way.
After assembling the treat bag, I use my tombow liquid glue again to adhere the rest of the die-cut and colored images to decorate my bags. You can skip this step if you would like to use readymade bags and certainly if you have 10 or more kids, it will get tedious to decorate each bag.
To spoil my trick-or-treaters a little more, I decided to create some cute little paper wands. I love seeing their facial expressions when they see what they’ll get when hubby and I open the door. These are so easy to make. I use paper straws that I get inexpensively from the dollar store or craft stores. I decorate them using cute stickers and die-cut pieces. They are so cute, aren’t they?!
Last but not the least, I make the “older” kids cute Halloween cards with their treat bags. They are the ones that appreciate it the most and I include little stickers inside the card . I always use my favorite stamps and this year, it goes to JessicaLynnOriginal Brentwood Owl stamp. I have created this card awhile back for a blog hop for Scrapbooking magazine. I love it so much that I will be making 10 more to give to my trick-or-treaters this year. It is a fun shaker card. I used Impression Obsession shaker card kits to make it easier for me, and adhered them to the card stock and designer series paper using my favorite Tombow Liquid glue.
Here are all three projects. I hope you like them.
Happy Halloween!
Too Cute to Spook ~ Lawnscaping Challenge #116
Halloween is just less than two weeks away and I am not ready to give up this holiday yet. I see a lot of my crafty friends already working on their Christmas projects and I am a bit bummed! Halloween is my favorite time of the year and if I can celebrate it 365 days a year, I will. Kidding aside, when I read yesterday’s Lawnscaping Blog challenge, it just made me so happy that I immediately started working on my card.
This week’s theme is to create a cute, spooky card. I love my Lawn Fawn Halloween stamps but I am also in-love with the Merry Christmouse stamp set that I purchased recently. I decided to get the mice all dressed up for Halloween! Without further ado, here is the card:
Aren’t they just adorable? What do you guys think? Is it too cute to spook?
Love You Deer Stamp Set by JessicaLynnOriginal
Fall is my favorite time of the season. The color of the leaves, cooler weather, sweaters, hot chocolate, pumpkin everything, Halloween and Thanksgiving! I can go on and on. But the main focus today is the newly-released stamp set by Jessica Lynn Original called “Love You Deer”. This stamp set is just great for nature-inspired cards, scrapbook layouts and such.
The first two cards that you see below are Fall-inspired cards.
The sentiment on the second card is a bit hilarious and PETA please do not be upset with me! This is the only card that I have not shown my daughter yet; I can just hear her giving me a hard time about this one!). Kidding aside, this was a bit challenging for me. I just hope I was able to give you examples that will make you want to go to your craft room and stamp away! Deer Hunter wives, time to make your husbands (or partners) some wonderful and funny cards!
The third card below is my favorite. I decided to make it classy and simple by only using 3 colors on this card! I wanted the Deer image to stand out. I think it turned out really beautiful!
First, I colored the deer using my Copic markers. I then stamped and heat-embossed the trees, hill, snowflakes and snowman in the background with white embossing powder. I proceeded to die-cut the snowy hills using my border dies with vellum, glitter card stock and regular white card stock to create the snowy hills. I also used my liquid applique to create the snow in the background. I finished the design by adding a red bow on the deer and used my matching red embossing powder to heat-emboss the sentiment on the vellum. What do you guys think? Which one is your favorite?
Hop on through the other designers below to see their beautiful creations using this stamp set. Please don’t forget to leave a comment on Jessica’s Blog post http://jessicalynnoriginalstamps.blogspot.com to get the chance to win this stamp set.

Lawn Fawn Halloween Shaker Ornament
I was decorating for Halloween yesterday and was finally able to set up my spooky tree. It has been a family tradition every Halloween but now that my kids are both grown and out of the house ~ I still continue the tradition in my house. As soon as the tree is set-up, I take pictures and send them to my kids. They still love it!
My tree needed some new ornaments and since I just bought almost all of the Lawn Fawn’s new release (shhhh! don’t tell my husband!) I decided to use the shaker die and the Booyah stamp set to create a cute little Halloween Ornament.
I also wanted to enter the sentiment challenge at Lawnscaping Challenge blog that is all about “sentiment”. I wanted my sentiment to stand out so I decided to use my white embossing powder with versa mark, and heat-embossed it. I think it really did pop! Not to mention the word “boo” inside the shaker!
Here is the cute ornament:
Materials used (Unless otherwise stated – everything else is Lawn Fawn):
Booyah Stamp Set and coordinating Dies – used the ghost, witch’s hat and the broom
Happy Haunting Stamp Set – used the tree and the small bat for the background
Spooktacular Stamp Set & coordinating die – used the tombstone
Ready, Set, Snow Die Extra – to cut the shaker piece
Tag You’re It – to cut the piece to make a tag so I can hang it on the tree
Hero Arts Embossing powder
Versamark Ink
Duralar Acetate Sheets
Adhesive
Black and White Sequins

What do you guys think? Here is the ornament hanging on my spooky tree.

Are you ready to see the cards? The first one that you see here is a Halloween-themed card. This stamp is called Ghost of Christmas Past. I must admit that I overly-embellished this card. A common occurrence when I have my creativity mojo going. Sometimes I get really carried away. This card must have taken me 4 hours to make. It was a lot of work, but totally worth it. My husband keeps commenting that my cards are so detailed and embellished that they will be too expensive to sell. I don’t really sell my cards. I mostly give it to friends. I love that when they get my cards, they like it so much that they put it in a frame and display it at their home offices! That is a huge compliment for me! I feel that if I don’t take my time or put a lot of effort into making my cards, what’s the point of even making one?
With the exception of the pumpkins, everything has been handmade/die cut by yours truly!
The second card is one of my favorites. It’s so simple but adorable at the same time. I used two stamp sets for this card. The owl is one of my favorites from JLO Stamps. She is called “Ruby With a Martini” and the cute bat is from “Ghost of Christmas Past”. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I make a lot of Halloween cards and scrapbook layouts.

The third card is a Valentine-themed card. I love the simplicity of this one. I love Jessica’s sentiments on this stamp set as well. I think she has the most amazing handwriting I’ve ever seen.
Last but not the least, is a birthday card! Today is MY birthday so of course I have to make a birthday card somehow. I combined two digital stamps on this card, and used some of my confetti stamps to create the confetti background. I also used my magnolia doohickey balloon dies to cut out the cute little balloons that you see below. I wanted this card to be happy, girly and adorable.

Which one is your favorite? Mine is still the Halloween Witch card just because she looks so stylish and I love Halloween! We are all little witches in our own sort of way, aren’t we?!
