So Much to be Thankful For Card with ClearSnap and Xyron

Hello my crafty friends! I hope you are having a great day!  I am super thrilled to share my card today.  The Xyron design team received some amazing products from ClearSnap and the team will be showing you projects this week, showcasing some ink pads by ClearSnap and adhesives by Xyron.

I started out by die-cutting some fall leaves using a die set by Lawn Fawn on Neenah solar white 110 lb. card stock and colored them in using the Color Box Cat’s Eye.  The colors I received are perfect for fall.  I dabbed the ink pad onto the card stock directly until I got some nice colors on the leaves.

I also die-cut an A2 size Neenah solar white card stock, using my Cross Stitched Rectangle Die by Kat Scrappiness.  I also used a die from my collection to die-cut the wreath.  I adhered the wreath onto my card front.

Before I adhered the leaves onto the wreath, I decided to stamp my sentiment first using my stamping tool, with the Coal Ink box.  I wanted my sentiment to look crisp and bold against the colorful fall leaves.

I run the colorful die-cut leaves with my Xyron 1.5 Inch Sticker Maker so that I can have edge-to-edge adhesive on the leaves and it will be easier to adhere them all onto my card.

You can easily mass-produce this card.  I think it turned out so simple yet elegant and is perfect to give to family and friends for the Thanksgiving holiday coming up next month.

Back to School with Xyron – Reusable (Laminated) Lunch Box Notes

Good morning my crafty peeps!  I am back today to share a (very easy) Back-To-School project, using my all-time favorite Mega Tape Adhesive Tape Runner and my Creative Station Lite with a Double-Side Laminate by Xyron.

When my kids were younger, I used to include lunch box “love notes” in my children’s lunch boxes, with some treats. I wanted them to feel that they are loved and special.  They also told me that it always cheered them up when they were having a bad day at school and they always look forward to opening their lunch boxes.  Just a warning though, this made some other kids in their class super jealous and started asking their mommies why they didn’t have cute notes and special treats in their lunch boxes! Haha! Needless to say, I was requested by the “non-crafty” mommies to make some lunchbox notes for their child!

I started out by stamping my images using my new favorite stamping platform by Tim Holtz. Since these images will go in lunch boxes, there is no need to take so much time with shading and such to color them in. I die-cut my images with the coordinating dies.

I already have some business-card size card stock in my stash so all I had to do was adhere my images to the card stock using my Xyron Mega Adhesive Tape Runner.

I stamped my sentiments with some stamps that I already have from my stash. You don’t have to use stamps for your sentiments. You can also write your own messages. I think it will actually be more special if you did!   I used my Creative Station Lite with the Double-sided Laminate to laminate my notes. This will protect your lunch box notes from the moisture inside the lunch box; plus you can totally reuse them over and over again!

Here’s what they all look like when laminated:

This project will also be perfect for your little kids if they want to make their own notes to give to their classmates.   Aren’t they adorable?  I hope you like my back-to-school project today. Have an amazing day!
