For my project today, I am showcasing the new Crafter’s Essentials – Winter die set with the Beary Merry stamp set by Neat & Tangled.

I started by stamping my image with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and colored the images in with my Copic markers. I die cut the Trees and snowbanks with Neenah Solar white card stock with the Crafter’s Essentials – Winter die set.

I inked up my Bristol smooth white card stock with Tumbled glass and Spun sugar distress oxide inks with my mini-ink blending tool. I am loving this color-combo for the winter sky!

To finish my design on this card, I added some Stardust stickles on the trees and glossy accents to the North Pole sign. Here’s a little close-up:

Newton’s Nook Designs November Release – Day 3

For the last day of the November reveals, the design team is showcasing the Newton Celebrates stamp set and the Newton’s New Year stamp set, with their coordinating dies. Here’s what they look like:

I don’t know about you but that cat in the martini glass is the BOMB! I just love, love, love that image.

NEWTON CELEBRATES:

I don’t know if you can tell but I put glossy accents on the martini glass and the olive. To finish my design, I added some champagne jewels by Kat Scrappiness. Here’s a little close-up:

NEWTON’S NEW YEAR:

For my last card, I wanted to create a shaker card to celebrate the occasion. I created my own stencil using my circle dies and colored my Bristol smooth white card stock with different distress oxide inks. I also used my rectangle dies to create my border with the Sky Borders die.

I added glossy accents to the champagne glasses and the bubbles! I really LOVE how this card turned out. Here’s another look:

For our projects today, the design team is showcasing the Poinsettia Blooms and Winter Birds stamp set plus the coordinating dies. Here’s what they look like:

POINSETTIA BLOOMS:

At first, I colored the poinsettia images in pink but I didn’t like how it turned out so I used my red Copic markers to layer on top of the pink. For this card, I also used my all-time favorite Pines & Holly die set and added the berries from the Winter Birds stamp set. For my sentiment I used the Ornamental Wishes stamp set, released last month. Here’s a little close-up:

WINTER BIRDS:

Jennifer was just so kind because she sent us this PDF document that identifies the birds and what they look like in real life.

I just LOVE cardinals! They are so pretty and in my opinion, they are a symbol of the holidays! For my card, I used the Pines & Holly die set once again to decorate my branch and the Festive Forest stamp set for the trees. Here’s a little close-up:

It is that time of the month where the entire design team get so excited to show off the new stamps, dies and stencils by Newton’s Nook Designs. For the first day of the reveals, we are showcasing the Christmas Haul and Moose Mountain with their coordinating dies, with the Snowman Advice stamp set and two new layering stencils called Plaid stencil set and Argyle stencil set. Heres what they look like:

Since we are featuring a lot of products today, I will keep this blog post short and will jump right in showing you what I made. Halloween Card with Crafter’s Essentials – Fall by Kat Scrap (Process Video Included)

Hello my crafty friends! I am back today with this cute Halloween Card, showcasing the Crafter’s Essentials – Fall Die Set, Stitched Scalloped Border Dies, some Purple Jewels and Distress Oxide inks.

I have a video tutorial for you today (link below) so I will keep this blog post short. Here’s my card:

I love the “evening sky” colors I blended using my distress oxide inks. I didn’t want to use the typical orange and black for Halloween. Here’s a little close-up:

Don’t you just LOVE the stitching details to the die-cuts? Also love the Purple Jewels. It just adds a little more oomph to the overall card design.

Newton’s Nook Designs October Release – Day 4

For the last day of the October reveals, the design team is showcasing the Slothy Christmas stamp set and coordinating dies, the Happy How-lidays stamp set and coordinating dies with two new mini stamp sets called Mistle-Toad and Fleece Navidad with their coordinating dies. Here’s what they look like:

I stamped and colored all the images with my Copic markers. I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies. Also die-cut the other elements I needed to create my scene. Here’s my first card:

The little stockings are from the Ornament Shaker Dies. The Birch Trees and Pine Trees are from the Forest Scene Builder and the Snow Hills, using the Land Border die set. Since this is a holiday card, glitter is the way to go! I added some stardust stickles to the Santa hat. Here’s a little close-up:

Don’t you just love this little cutie? He represents me around the holidays. I get so tired from traveling, cooking and entertaining that all I want to do is take a long nap.

Here’s my second card with the Happy Howl-idays stamp set.

I added some gold detail on the dog’s jingle-bell collar using my Sakura Gold gel pen. Also added some red stickles to the berries. Here’s a little close-up:

Last but not the least, here’s my card with the Mistle-Toad stamp set. This is so adorable.

I used the Framework die set to add some embossing details to my card stock. I also used the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set and the Pines and Holly Die set, with the Festive Forest stamp set. Here’s a close-up:

To finish my card design, I added sparkling clear jewels and stardust stickles.

For the third day, the design team is showcasing the Holiday Stockings stamp set (NOTE: you can cut these images using the Stylish Stockings Die Set), and the Ornamental Wishes with the Ornament Shaker Die. Here’s what they look like:

For my first project, I stamped the images on some smooth white card stock and colored them in with my alcohol markers. I die-cut the images using the Stylish Stockings die set. I die-cut another piece of white card stock using a square die from my stash to create the windows for my card. I embellished the stocking with Stardust Stickles and set them aside to dry.

I die-cut the Merry and Bright sentiment using the Holiday Greetings Die set, featured on the first day of the reveals. Here’s my card:

I absolutely ADORE the images on the stockings! I can’t even pick a favorite because they are all so cute! This stamp set is a must-have for your holiday cards. Here’s another look:

For my second project I used the Ornament Shaker Die with some silver glittered card stock. I used the double-sided adhesive foam to create my shaker well and used some sequins from my stash. I die-cut the top piece of the ornament with gold glittered card stock and used a bow punch from my stash. I also die-cut some pine boughs with white card stock to decorate my ornament.

To finish my card design, I die-cut the “Happy Holidays” sentiment using the Holiday Greetings die set and adhered these pieces on my card.

This Ornament shaker die is another must-have for sure! Wouldn’t you just love receiving a holiday card with this shaker ornament?

I stamped my images on some neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers. I die-cut the images using the coordinating dies. I also die-cut the trees and the snow hills using the Forest Scene Builder dies and the Land Border dies. Here’s my first card:

I absolutely LOVE the Forest Scene Builder dies. Nt only did it come with the birch trees but I also came with little birds and Pine trees. Here’s a little close-up:

Don’t you just love the little mice? They are so adorable and super cute!

For my second card, I also used the Music stencil and covered their beanies with stardust glitter.

Newton’s Nook Designs October Release – Day 1

For the first day of the reveals, we are showcasing the Winter Memories stamp set and dies with two new stand-alone dies that you are absolutely going to LOVE – the Forest Scene Builder dies (my favorite because I LOVE birch trees), the Holiday Greetings Dies (another favorite), with three new AMAZING stencils. Heres what they look like:

I started out by stamping my images on Neenah solar white card stock with versafine onyx black ink. I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies. I die-cut the rest of my elements using the Forest Scene Builder dies and Land Border dies. I colored the birds die-cut with my Copic markers. Here’s my first card:

I am so bummed that my lighting didn’t really show the glittered “snow” on my card. When I was making this card, it was hurricane season in Florida. I used some diamond glittered card tsock to create my snow hills. Here’s a little close-up:

I love the silhouette images on this stamp set.

For my second card, I used my Nuvo Moonstone glitter paste and the Evergreen stencil.
