Hello Newton’s Nook fans! I hope your holidays went perfectly well and you’ve managed to spend a lot of time with your loved ones. 2019 is here and it is time to start this month to welcome the season of LOVE! You will probably see a lot of love-themed projects on the blog this month.
For my project today, I am showcasing the Newton’s Christmas Cuddles stamp set and its coordinating dies (sssh! this stamp set is also perfect for Valentine’s Day projects or an anniversary-themed card), the Tumbling Hearts stencil the Sky Borders die, and the Uplifting Wishes stamp set.
I started out by stamping the image on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers. I die-cut the images using the coordinating die. On a piece of Bristol smooth white card stock, I colored my background with distress oxide inks and used my Tumbling Hearts stencil to add the hearts. I die-cut the rest of the elements that I needed to assemble the card. Here’s what it looks like:

To finish my design, I used my home-made clouds stencil using the Sky Borders die and colored the frame to make it look like sky. I also stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and used white embossing powder and my heating tool to heat set it. Here’s a little close-up:

I added the Heart Sprinkles Embellishment mix from Kat Scrappiness.

I hope you like my card today. The supplies I used are listed and linked below. Have an amazing day and happy crafting!
