Kat Scrappiness Dies with Lawn Fawn Sweet Friends

I hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day yesterday! I have two cute cards for you today showcasing the (new) Large Alpha Dies, Distressed Edge Circle Dies, Distressed Edge Rectangle Dies, Fancy Scalloped Edge Dies by Kat Scrappiness, with Lawn Fawn’s Sweet Friends stamp set and Sweet Friends Lawn Cuts dies.

Even though these two cards have hearts, they are not for Valentine’s Day. My friends and I love s’mores and I thought the Sweet Friends stamp set with the Large Alpha Dies and other dies by Kat Scrappiness would be perfect to use for my cards today.

NND February Release – Company of Cats

Here’s what the stamp set look like:

I die-cut a piece of Neenah Solar white card stock using the Scallop Rectangle from the Frames and Flags die set. I stamped my images on this die-cut using memento tuxedo black ink and colored my images in with my Copic markers. I also colored the scallop edge using my RV 11 Copic marker.

To finish my design, I used one of the banners from the Frames and Flags die-set again to stamp my sentiment. Here’s my card:

NND February Release – Bitty Bunnies

Here’s what the stamp set and dies look like:

I stamped my images on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Warm Gray Copic markers (W2 and W00). Since the bunnies looked almost white, I wanted to showcase them by adding some colors on the foreground to make them pop. I use my home-made stencil to color the background with my distress oxide inks (Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet and Wild Honey).

To finish my design I used some dies from my stash to create the stitching details for the butterflies. Here’s my card:

For my second card, I colored my Bristol Smooth white card stock with Broken China, Worn Lipstick and Cracked Pistachio distress oxide inks with my mini-ink blending tool. I adhered the bunnies with some foam tape and heat-embossed my sentiment with my white embossing powder. Here’s the second card:

Here are the images of the Newton’s Easter Basket stamp set and dies, with the Cloudy Sky stencil:

I started out by die-cutting a Bristol smooth white card stock using the Scallop Rectangle die from the Frames and Flags die set. I used the new Cloudy Sky stencil and my broken china distress oxide ink with my mini-ink blending tool to create my cloudy sky.

I stamped the images on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers. I die-cut the colored images with its coordinating dies. To finish my design, I die-cut a mint card stock using the land border dies, and added the small trees. Here’s my card:

Since I colored more than one image, I thought it’s perfect to use it to decorate my treat bag. I added the white fence first, and adhered the grass that I die-cut using the land border die. I stamped the sentiment onto the treat bag, then adhered my image with my foam tape. Here’s the treat bag:

Valentine’s Mailbox Treat Holder with Color Washed 12×12 Paper Pad by PHP

Are you looking for some last-minute gift ideas for Valentine’s Day? Look no further. Here’s an easy and fun Valentine’s Mailbox Treat Holder idea! You can find these mailboxes at a craft store, or go to your local Target at the Dollar spot section. I have altered my mailbox, using the beautiful Color Washed 12 x 12 Paper Pad by Paper House Productions. You guys are all going to love this paper pad. The pad comes with a sticker sheet that contains alphabet stickers, and other ephemeras.

I love making 3D projects for Valentine’s Day, especially making treat holders for my family and friends. Valentine’s Day is always a special day at my house. When my kids were a lot younger, I would surprise them by decorating the table with hearts, candles, confetti, and flowers! I would also leave the little treat bags on top of their plates so that before they eat breakfast and go to school, they already have their treats with them. It made their day. It doesn’t matter how big or small the presents were but they were always happy to get a few treats to celebrate the day. We also made treats for their friends!

Kat Scrappiness Large Alpha Dies with Lawn Fawn

Hello my crafty friends. I am back today to share with you a simple Valentine’s Day card, showcasing the new Large Alphabet dies and Christmas Red Sequins by Kat Scrappiness, Lawn Fawn Sweet Friends stamp set and Lawn Fawn Sweet Friends coordinating dies, plus other supplies available at the shop.

I started out by stamping my images on Neenah Solar white card stock and I colored the images in with my Copic markers. I cut another 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Bristol Smooth white card stock and used my Tumbling Hearts stencil to create my background, with my Worn Lipstick distress oxide ink and the ink blending tool.

I wanted to create a Valentine’s Day shaker card and also use the new Large Alphabet Dies. I chose the letters, X and O and used my die-cutting machine to cut my background. I covered it with my acetate and used my foam tape to create my shaker window. I have been meaning to use the Christmas Red sequins and thought that this was the perfect color to use as my shaker element.

To finish my design, I added my little Froyo images and stamped my sentiment. I also added the little strawberries to the Froyo and covered it with glossy accents. Here is the card:

Sweet Treats Blog Hop with Newton’s Nook – Valentine’s Candy Bar Treats

I always get excited this time of the year because I love Valentine’s Day and we also get to make cute projects to give as gifts for our loved ones. This year, I wanted to create some simple Valentine’s treats for my siblings. We all share our LOVE for chocolates and I wanted to make these treats a little special by adding some cute embellishments to wrap them up!

I started out by die-cutting my cute tags with the Fancy Edges Tag die set by Newton’s Nook. I die-cut three white card stock and 3 patterned papers. I used the fancy edges die to die-cut the decorative pieces and adhered them to my tag with my Nuvo Adhesive. This die set is my favorite to use to create beautiful gift tags! Here’s what they look like:

Since I am creating tags for the chocolate bars, I thought that the Love and Chocolate stamp set and coordinating dies will be the perfect stamp set to decorate my tag. I stamped the images on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers. I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies. I adhered the images on the tag, and finished my design by stamping the sentiment.

I wrapped my Hershey’s candy bar with some typing paper first, and then I used some cute patterned papers that I purchased from the craft store. It is perfect for my Valentine’s treats.

I adhered the tags onto my wrapped candy bars and die-cut 3 red bows and adhered them as well on top of each tag. Since these candy bars are for my siblings, I wanted to finish my design by die-cutting the All in the Family dies by Kat Scrappiness just to add a little bit of extra cuteness!

London Calling Scrapbook Layout Destination Stickers with Paper House

Hello my crafty friends! Maria here with you today and I am back to share with you a scrapbook layout, showcasing the Discover London 3-D Sticker Pack and the London Calling 12″ Double-sided Scrapbook paper. I love that there are endless possibilities to mix and match the coordinating travel sets, especially the Destination Stickers. I really love the 3d stickers!

I started out by printing my photos using my Canon Selphy photo printer. I cut them to size for my layout.

I decided to use the London-Calling 12″ Double-sided scrapbook paper to match the Discover London 3D Sticker pack. I cut a 6 x 12 black card stock to cover half of the scrapbook paper to have a plain base to showcase my photos and the sticker.

I also used another black card stock to mat my Big Ben photograph and ground it a little so that it doesn’t look like it’s floating in the air.

I used another red card stock to mat the photo of my daughter and I standing in Leicester Square while it was snowing, and journaled a little of how the day was going, where we were, and the date.

Here’s a close-up with the amazing Destination 3D sticker, and that England heart flag is super cute!

I thought it’s also appropriate to include the “Cheers” and the Red Tour Bus, also included in the Discover London 3D Sticker pack.

My daughter and I are huge fans of Sherlock Holmes so naturally, we had to see where he lived and thought that the Police Cap and the Red Telephone Booth would be perfect to showcase this spot.

I wish I can share more photos and use more stickers but I guess I will have to share it on another post. We have definitely enjoyed touring London and this London-Calling 12″ Double-sided scrapbook paper with the Discover London 3D Sticker pack are the perfect combination to decorate my layout.

Chocolate Shaker Card with Kat Scrappiness

Are you looking for a simple Valentine’s Day card without all the hearts and romantic stuff? Or just a simple “just-because” card to brighten someone’s day? For my project today, I am showcasing the Layered Chocolate Bar 6″ x 8″ stamp set, the Chocolate Lover’s Sentiment stamp set, Sparkling Manhattan sequin mix, Distressed Edge Rectangle dies and the Wonky Wavy Stitched Rectangle dies.

I started out by stamping the layered chocolate bar stamp using my Tim Holtz Tonic stamp platform with my memento tuxedo black ink. I used my precision-cut scissors to fuzzy-cut the images.

I also cut the little chocolate squares to add to my project.

It has been awhile since I made a shaker card so I thought I’d make them today. I die-cut my 110 lb. white card stock with the wonky wavy stitched dies. I die-cut the middle using the second of the largest piece of the distressed edge rectangle dies to create the window.

I cut a piece of acetate to cover the window and adhered the chocolate bar at the bottom left side corner. I added some 3M foam tape. I decided to use my Cinnamon Swirl Mix sequins for my shaker element and the chocolate squares but since the sequin mix I used is not available anymore at the store, you can also use the Sparkling Manhattan sequin mix. to finish the design, I stamped my sentiment using my Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink to give it a little bit of color.

I love this stamp set because the chocolate image looks so realistic! There are so many possibilities using this stamp set.
