Today’s reveal will get you in the mood for Halloween and we are showcasing a lot of products –> the Witchy Newton stamp set and coordinating dies, Happy Howl-oween stamp set and coordinating dies and the Ghosts stencil.
For my first card, I also used the Spooky Halloween stamp set and the Land Border die set.
I ink-blended my background with some distress oxide inks and die-cut the other elements that I needed to create my scene. I stamped and colored my images with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and used the dies to die-cut the images. I foam-mounted the image on my card and finished my design by stamping my sentiment with Versamark ink and heat-set this with my heating tool. Here’s a closer look:
For my second card, I masked my Bristol smooth white card stock with masking paper and ink-blended this piece with some distress oxide inks. I adhered this piece on some A2 size black card base.
I used the Picket Fence die for the picket fence and the Land Border die set for the grass with some black card stock. I assembled the card by adhering all of the pieces that I needed for my Halloween scene.
I added the ghosts using the Ghosts stencil on my card by slightly tracing the images with my Versamark pen. I sprinkled some white embossing powder and heat-set this with my heating tool. I did the same thing for my sentiment. I finished the design by stamping the bats. Here’s a closer look:
Are you now in the mood for Halloween? I love all of the stamps, dies and stencil that we revealed this week! Jennifer is truly an AMAZING artist!

For today’s release, the design team is showcasing the Autumn Mice stamp set and Autumn Mice coordinating dies:
To begin, I stamped my images on some Neenah solar white card stock. I colored the images in with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers and used the coordinating dies to die-cut the images.
I couldn’t pick a favorite image because they’re all so cute and AMAZING! I decided to feature all of them in one card. I used a storybook die from my stash to die-cut the white frame. I adhered a gingham patterned paper onto an A2-size card base. I foam-mounted the frame on my card and also adhered the mice with foam adhesives.
To give the card more texture but not overwhelm the whole design, I die-cut the same gingham patterned paper using the circle from the Frames squared stamp set and banner dies from my stamp. I adhered these pieces on my card with liquid adhesive.
To finish the design, I stamped my sentiment with Versafine Onyx black ink. Here’s a closer look:

For the first day of the reveals, we are showcasing the Pumpkin Latte stamp set and Pumpkin Latte coordinating dies:
I started out with an A2 size panel of Bristol smooth white card stock and ink-blended this piece with some distress oxide inks. I inked up another piece of Bristol smooth white card stock and used the Land Borders die to die-cut the hills.
I die-cut the birch trees using the Forest Scene Builder die set with some gray card stock. I also die-cut the pumpkin leaves and vines using an old die from my stash.
I stamped and colored my images on some Neenah solar white card stock with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Proof Ink in Rustic Brown. I colored my images in Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I die-cut the images using the Pumpkin Latte coordinating dies.
I adhered the birch trees on my colored background with some liquid adhesive and foam-mounted the hills. I layered the rest of the colored images with either liquid or foam adhesive.
To finish my design I used my white gel pen and added some line and dots to the images to give it more dimension. Here’s a little close-up:
For my second card, I used the Tree Rings stencil to color my Bristol smooth white card stock with my mini ink blending tool and Vintage Photo distress ink. I smooshed my Aged Mahogany distress oxide ink on an acrylic block and added some water. I used my watercolor brush to sprinkle some of the color to my colored background. I let this dry for about 20 minutes and used my frame border die to die-cut the piece. I foam-mounted the frame and adhered these pieces onto an A2-size kraft card base.
I die-cut the leaves using the Autumn Leaves die set with different patterned papers. I also die-cut another banner strip from some coffee card stock and stamped the sentiment with versamark ink. I sprinkled white embossing powder and heat-set this with my Wagner Heating tool. I adhered the banner with some foam adhesive and started layering the autumn leaves on the card.
Lastly, I adhered my colored image on the card with foam adhesive and added Caribbean Ocean crystal drops for added texture.
I don’t know about you but making these cards made me crave some pumpkin spice latte. I am not sure if they’re already available at Starbuck’s but I’m definitely craving one. Here’s a closer look:
What do you think? Which one is your favorite today? I hope you like my cards today.

Hello Newton’s Nook fans! It’s been super HOT here at home and I have been dreaming about sweater weather, and anything pumpkin related. This is my inspiration for today’s card. Although when this post actually goes live, hubby and I will be in South Africa enjoying their winter weather; at least for about a week or so! If you follow me on instagram, you might be able to see some photos of my trip.
For my project today, I am showcasing Newton’s Perfect Pumpkin stamp set, and I paired it with a lot of images from Pick-A-Pumpkin with Newton’s Boo-tiful night, and my sentiment is from the Creepy Cameos stamp set. The birch tree is from the Forest scene Builder die set and the grass is from the Land Border die set.
To begin, I stamped and colored my images on some Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium white card stock. This card stock is perfect for coloring with alcohol markers. I fussy-cut the images with my precision-cut scissors.
The background is ink-blended with different distress oxide inks. I spritzed this with water using my distress sprayer and dabbed it with my paper towel to dry to get more texture. I also die-cut the birch trees and the grass a couple of times with some black card stock.
I stamped the moon and stars from Newton’s Boo-tiful Night stamp set on my colored background with Versamark ink. I sprinkled this with some white embossing powder, and heat-set using my Wagner heating tool. I did the same thing for my sentiment. I assembled the card by adhering the birch trees first, followed by the grass. I foam-mounted some of the trees and Newton to create more dimension on my scene.
To finish my design, I stamped the black bats and added the white dots using my Sakura white gel pen. I also adhered the spider web using liquid glue. Here’s a closer look:
I know it’s too early to create Halloween projects since it’s only August but I love Halloween and creating Halloween cards is one of my favorite thing to do!
I hope you like my card today. The supplies I used are listed and linked below. Thank you for stopping by and have an amazing day! Happy stamping!

This week Newton’s Nook Designs and Therm O Web are partnering for a fabulous inspiration week! All week long both design teams will be sharing ways to add fun foils and more to your cards using Therm O Web products with Newton’s Nook Designs stamps! There are prizes too! Read all the way to the end of this post to find out how you can win! I would like to take this opportunity to thank Therm O Web for sending us some amazing products!
For my project below, I am showcasing the Deco Foil Rose Gold Transfer Sheet, the Wilderness Clear Designer Toner Sheet, the Hedgehog Hollow Stamp Set and Hedgehog Hollow die set, with some Merry-Go-Round sequin mix by Kat Scrappiness. The supplies I used will be listed and linked below.
I started by stamping my hedgehog with some Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them in with my Copic markers. I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies. I cut another piece of Bristol Smooth white card stock and inked up my background with distress oxide inks.
I used my Deco Foil Rose Gold Transfer Sheet and my laminator to foil the Wilderness Clear Designer Toner Sheet.

Here’s what it looks like when it’s completely foiled. They are amazing!

Since the background is already busy, I wanted to create a more “clean” look so I die-cut my inked background with some dies and adhered the foiled sheet to create my window panel.

I added the Merry-Go-Round sequin mix by Kat Scrappiness. They kind of look like fall leaves, don’t they?

I used the Land Border dies for my grass and inked it up with distress oxide inks.

Here’s my shaker card:

To finish my design, I added some white lines to the hedgehogs and die-cut the orange bow from the Pines & Holly die set. Here’s a little close-up:

I just absolutely LOVE the Thermo O Web products I got to play with. The foil is so pretty and I couldn’t throw it away so I created another card with the negative piece.

Here’s a little close-up:

There are more amazing projects today over on the Therm O Web blog so pop over there for more inspiration!
