For my Christmas card today, I am showcasing one of my favorite stamp set and coordinating dies by Newton’s Nook called Naughty or Mice, along with the Banner Trio die setSlimline Frames & Portholes and the Slimline Frames & Windows die set.

I started by stamping my images on some Neenah solar white card stock with Memento Rich Cocoa ink.  I colored the images in with my alcohol markers and die-cut them out using the coordinating dies.

I used both slimline dies mentioned above and die-cut them with different colors of card stock and patterned paper.  I cut some Neenah 110 lb. card stock measuring 8 1/2 by 7, and folded in half as my slimline card base.  I adhered the red scallop first, then foam-mounted the white frame for added dimension.

I adhered the patterned paper with some liquid glue.  Adding the snow banks grounded my images against the busy background and made them stand out a little!

The focal images were added with my tape runner.  I finished my design by die-cutting the banner from the Banner Trio die set, that was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with my heating tool.

To add more of a festive touch, I added the red bows that were die-cut using the Baby Bib die set.  Here’s another look:
