The Newton’s Nook Designs Team is hopping along today to share some great Sweet Treats – just in time for Valentines day!  Make sure you scroll down to the bottom of this post to see the whole list and hop along and comment for a chance to win!

For my project today, I am showcasing the What A Hoot stamp set, and coordinating die set.  The sentiment is from the  Love Owl-ways stamp set.  I also used the Clouds stencil.

To begin, I stamped my images on some Neenah solar white card stock and colored the images in with my Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers.  I die-cut the images using the coordinating die.

I used a die from my stash to die-cut the treat topper with some Valentine’s-themed patterned paper.  I cut the same using some white card stock.  I then used my NND Clouds stencil and some Tumbled glass distress oxide ink to create the sky.  I adhered this piece on the treat topper with some liquid glue and started adhering the images that I colored to decorate the treat topper.  I attached the treat topper to a cellophane bag that is filled with Maltesers chocolate.   Here’s what it looks like:

This project is so easy to make but it turned out so cute!  Here’s a closer look:
