Newton’s Nook Designs August Release Day 2 – Fall Fringe

For today’s release, the design team is showcasing the Fall Fringe stamp set which goes perfectly with the previously released Frames Squared die set:

 

 

To begin, I stamped my image on some Neenah solar white card stock.  I colored the images in with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers.  I used the scallop frame from the Squared Frames die set to die-cut this piece.  I used a square frame die set from my stash to die-cut a square rectangle to ground my images.  I die-cut another square frame to layer the pieces together.

 

I created a square card base and adhered the colored image on the card.

 

 

I finished my design by drawing a shadow on the images with my B000 Copic marker to make the images pop and used my white gel pen for added texture.  Here’s a closer look:

  2. Your coloring is incredible and I love the little white accents! The soft blue in the center really makes it all pop and that purple card base is perfect! This card is making me ready for Fall!

  5. I LOVE your card!!! I need to remember to use the white gel pen to add that little bit of extra to my images. And I don’t have the Copic marker you mentioned. Guess I will need to look it that some more. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!
