I am so excited to share with you today’s blog post! It is that time of the year again where all coffee lover’s unite and start the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Amy Tsuruta and the rest of her amazing team responsible for facilitating this great hop! I don’t know how you guys do it but you all rock!
Today I made a card showcasing the Layered Coffee Cup Die Set, and a bunch of other products available at #KatScrappiness shop (www.katscrappiness.com). THERE IS A SPECIAL COUPON CODE at the shop from today, May 3rd to May 10th only, use coupon code: “SPRINGCOFFEE” for 15% off your order). THERE IS ALSO A GIVEAWAY! Kat is a super sponsor and is giving away a $25 gift code from her shop, PLUS a flash price to win a surprise package with Kat Scrappiness products.
I started out by die-cutting my coffee cup with the Layered Coffee Cup Die set on Neenah 110 lb solar white and Neenah desert storm card stock. I used my alcohol markers to lightly colored the coffee cup to give it dimension. I assembled the layered coffee cup and stamped my sentiment using the Let’s Get Caffeinated stamp set.
On a piece of Bristol smooth white card stock, I used my blending brushes to add some pastel colors with some Lawn Fawn inks and inked up my background. I used a stamp set from my stash with some white pigment ink to create the “bokeh” effect on my card.
Using an angel wings die from my stash, I die-cut the piece with some iridescent vellum. I adhered the wings to the cup and adhere this piece on my card base. Here’s my card:
The angel wings went perfectly well with the sentiment that I used. To finish my design, I added some white jewels on my card. Here’s a closer look:
I hope you like my card today. Thanks for stopping by and let’s get caffeinated! 🙂 The supplies I used are listed and linked below.
