25 Days of Christmas Tags Featuring Newton’s Nook Designs

2018_25daysofchristmastagsNND

Today the Newton’s Nook Design Team is joining Tracey McNeely of  www.inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.ca for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags.

For my tags below, I am showcasing the Canine Christmas stamp set, the Festive Forest stamp set and Festive Forest Dies with the Fancy Edges Tag die set.  This tag set is a must-have for us paper crafters.  You can get as fancy as you want decorating the tags with the die shapes.  However, I wanted the focal point to be the images though so I kept the tags really simple.

I die-cut my tags on some Bristol Smooth white card stock and used a little bit of Shaded Lila distress oxide inks to add some color at the bottom of the tags.  I stamped the Christmas trees from the Festive Forest stamp set onto my tags.  On a separate piece of Neenah solar white, i stamped the stars and die-cut them using the Festive Forest die set.

I also stamped my images on Neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers.  I fussy-cut the images with my scissors.  I adhered my cute dogs onto the tag with some foam adhesive.  To finish my design, I stamped the stars with some light blue ink.  Here are my tags:

I think this Canine Christmas stamp set is perfect to use for your tags and gift it to any dog lovers.  Those images are just absolutely adorable!  I used my red copic marker to add color to a pearl embellishment so I can add it to my dog with the reindeer antlers.  Here’s a little close-up:

That little Chihuahua is also one of my faves!
