Newton’s Nook Designs October Release – Day 2

It is the second day of the September reveals by Newton’s Nook Designs.   I hope you were able to check out yesterday’s reveal.  You also have a chance to win each stamp set during release week so check out the details I have indicated at the end of this blog post.  [Just a little important note:  I know some of you had difficulties finding the comments section.  If you would like to leave a comment to participate in the giveaway, the “comments section” will only be ever visible when a single post on Word Press is being viewed. For our projects today, the design team is showcasing the Nutcracker Squeak stamp set and coordinating dies with Caroling Newton stamp set and coordinating dies.  Here’s what they look like:

I stamped my images on some neenah solar white card stock and colored them in with my Copic markers.  I die-cut the images using the coordinating dies.  I also die-cut the trees and the snow hills using the Forest Scene Builder dies and the Land Border dies.  Here’s my first card:

I absolutely LOVE the Forest Scene Builder dies.  Nt only did it come with the birch trees but I also came with little birds and Pine trees.  Here’s a little close-up:

Don’t you just love the little mice?  They are so adorable and super cute!

For my second card, I also used the Music stencil and covered their beanies with stardust glitter.

  34. Your cards are sooooooo stinkin’ cute!!! Love your shadowbox for the Nutcracker mice and the musical background for the singing feline trio and their sidekick mice is adorable 🙂 Very well done!
