Coffee… Because It’s Too Early for Wine – Coffee Lover’s Spring/Summer Blog Hop

SpringSummer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

I am so excited to share with you today’s blog post!  It is that time of the year again where all coffee lover’s unite and start the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Amy Tsuruta and the rest of her amazing team responsible for facilitating this great hop!  I don’t know how you guys do it but you all rock!

Today I made a card showcasing the Layered Coffee Cup Die Set, Got Coffee? Die and a bunch of other products available at  #KatScrappiness shop (www.katscrappiness.com).    THERE IS A SPECIAL COUPON CODE at the shop from today, May 25th to June 1st only, use coupon code: “ILOVECOFFEE” for 10% off your order).  THERE IS ALSO A GIVEAWAY!  Kat is a super sponsor and is giving away TWO (2) $25 gift card from her shop, PLUS a flash price to win the Layered Coffee cup die set and Got Coffee? sentiment die.  Please check all of the details for this giveaway on the www.katscrappinessblog.com.

I started out by die-cutting my coffee cup with the Layered Coffee Cup Die set and  the Got Coffee? script sentiment die.  I used my exacto knife to cut the window to create my shaker.  I adhered my acetate sheet onto the card stock and also adhered foam adhesive to create my well.  I added the Sparkling Manhattan Sequin Mix as my shaker element and adhered a beige card stock to cover it.

I covered my card base with some patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow Paper Pad.  I die-cut another piece of white card stock and used the largest of the Fancy Scalloped Stitched border die.  I used my Fog ink to stamp the coffee bean images and the sentiment from the Perfect Blend Clear stamp set by SugarPea Designs.

To finish my design, I adhered a “coffee” die-cut from the Got Coffee? die.  Here’s my card:

I just love how this card turned out.
