NND August Release Day 2 – Once Upon a Princess

It is the second day of the August release at Newton’s Nook Designs  and for today’s card I am showcasing the Once Upon a Princess stamp set and its coordinating dies.  This stamp set is perfect to make cards (or scrapbook layouts) for your little princesses.  You also have a chance to win each stamp set during release week so check out the details I have indicated at the end of this blog post.

For my first card, I started our by stamping my images on Neenah solar white card stock using my new favorite stamp Platform by Tim Holtz.  I colored my images in with my Copic markers.  I die-cut the images using the coordinating dies.  Here is my card:

For my second card, I wanted to create a birthday card for a little girl so I decided to use my pop-up box die.  I colored my images in with my Copic markers and die-cut them with the dies.  I also used an older NND stamp set called “Newton’s Birdbath” to add the flying bird and the butterfly to finish my design.  Here’s what it looks like:
